Objective: The aim of this paper was to observe the clinical curative effects of desensitizers containing CPP-ACP ingredients and GLUMA desensitizer after the treatments of two groups of 40 tooth with Dentin Hypersensitivity immediately,3months and 6months,then,evaluate the clinical efficacy of the CPP-ACP.Methods:A total of 40 patients with 80 hypersensitivity teeth which were occulsal attrition were randomly allocated into experimental(GC Tooth Mousse,the main ingredient is CPP-ACP)and control groups(GLUMA desensitizer)All patients who were healthy.They can coordinate the treatment and did not take any drugs affecting the sensory function of the pulp.All cases of teeth were posterior teeth with vital pulp without suffering any desensitization,trauma,orthodontics or periodontal treatments in a year.In the meanwhile,in order to provide the protection for this clinical assessment,diseases such as pulp diseases,cracked tooth,wedge-shaped defect,and so on were rejected.Clinical inspection combined mechanical stimulation and cold irritation to diagnose dentin allergic areas and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)was used to record pain degrees.The teeth were cleaned and dried before desensitization therapies.Experimental group: The dentin allergic area was used the GLUMA etching acid etch for 30 seconds,wash and use the cotton buds to dry the surface softly,did not use an air gun to dry the tooth surface.then the dentin allergic area was smeared with a small amount of GC Tooth Mousse,knead gently for 3 minutes,keeping the GC Tooth Mousse in the surface at least 5 minutes.Hence,apply once a day for seven days.Control group: After GLUMA desensitizer was applied in the dentin allergic area for 30 seconds or 1 minutes,a triple syring was used to lightly blow the tooth surface until the color become darker,then,repeated once and rinse.Recorded the VAS values based on the pain degrees the patients felt after the treatments immediately,3 months and 6 months.Analyzed the VAS values to get the different desensitization materials effective rates in different periods,then did the statistical analysis.After the treatment,the patients of experimental group were told did not gargle,feed and brush teeth within 30 minutes.During the treatment periods,patients should refuse any other desensitization therapies,orthodontic or periodontal treatments.If they felt uncomfortable they should come to get a check instantly.Results: After the immediately treatment,the effective rates of experimental and control groups were 97.5% and 95%.After the treatment for 3months,the effective rates of two groups were 87.5%.After the treatment for 6 months,the effective rates of two groups were75% and 80%.Statistically analysis showed that the different of experimental and control groups after the treatment of Dentinal Hypersensitivity immediately,3 months and 6 months still had no statistically significant gaps(P>0.05).Conclusions: The result of this experiment showed that compared with GLUMA desensitizer,CPP-ACP could achieve the same clinical efficacy.But CPP-ACP with the use of safer,more convenient advantages,so the desensitizers containing CPP-ACP ingredients are worth popularizing and applying.
