BackgroundThe cerebrum was the highest center of the body.It managed and controlled the body's movements and mental activity,etc.Men skilled in abstract and space imagination ability,while women were good at memory and verbal ability,some of the central nervous system lesions such as schizophrenia were also associated with abnormal brain ditch.Along with the rapid development of modern medical imaging technology and computer software development,update ceaselessly.The imaging technology was used to study the structure of the telencephalon,gender and side don't differences on morphology of the brain research and clinical brain stereotactic surgery was important.ObjectiveBy three dimensional fast spoiled gradient recalled(3D-FSPGR)scanning MRI image data,through the computer software system structure of telencephalon of overall volume,gray matter volume,white matter volume,surface area,folding,lobes volume,the gender and the side of the central sulcus of other differences research,function of nervous system lesions imaging diagnosis,for clinical research and to provide morphological basis for forensic identification,etc.MethodsChoosing between the December 2013 to November 2013,by reason of the head discomfort to Xinxiang central hospital image division,implementation of MRI image inspectors in Henan province north crowd of 100 cases and eliminate brain tumors,such as schizophrenia nervous system disease,50 cases of male,50 cases of female,25 to 30 years old,average 27.3 years,age and sex matched and right-handed.All inspectors were 3.0 T superconducting MRI scanner three dimensional fast spoiled gradient recalled(3D-FSPGR)scanning,the original image data was inputted the image post-processing workstation application software system will end brain structure was divided into gray matter,white matter and cerebrospinal fluid,at the same time on the end surface of the brain cortex and brain ditch 3D reconstruction,and then application software system respectively the space structure of telencephalon standardization,measure and standardization of comparison before and after the telencephalon of overall volume,gray matter volume,white matter volume,surface area,folding,lobes volume,the gender and the side of the central sulcus of other differences.Using SPSS 13.0 software for statistical data from processing,measurement data was used mean ± standard(x ±s)deviation.Results1.Male telencephalon of overall volume,gray matter volume,white matter volume before standardization were greater than the women(P < 0.05).After standardization only men more than women on the right side of the brain gray matter volume(P < 0.05),while the left end of the female brain volume,on the right side of the cerebrum whole volume,on the right side of the brain white matter volume were greater than the male(P < 0.05).Standardized before and after the male on the left side of the end of the whole brain volume,the left side of the brain gray matter volume and women overall volume,the gray matter volume were greater than the right side(P < 0.05),the female side on the right side of the brain white matter volume was larger than the left side(P < 0.05).2.Male telencephalon surface area before the standardization was greater than the female(P < 0.05),and standardization of women telencephalon surface area was greater than the male(P < 0.05),standardized male telencephalon surface area in front of the left and right,it was(111207.12±6839.10)mm2 and(111021.13±6819.54)mm2that women telencephalon surface area left and right respectively,it was(100803.95±7008.91)mm2 and(100795.28±7566.23)mm2 respectively.Standardization of men after the brain surface area left and right,it was(102055.88±3367.72)mm2 and(101894.05±3713.72)mm2 that women telencephalon surface area left and right respectively,it was(106607.54±4121.53)mm2and(106573.02±4522.96)mm2 respectively.Standardized before and after the telencephalon of surface area and folding degree without side don't difference(P >0.05).3.Male insula gray matter volume after standardization was greater than the female(P < 0.05),the female's frontal lobe gray matter volume and right parietal lobe gray matter volume,left occipital lobe gray matter volume were greater than the male(P < 0.05).Men and women of the left temporal lobe gray matter volume,insula gray matter volume were greater than the right side(P < 0.05),the male on the right side of the parietal lobe gray matter volume and occipital lobe gray matter volume and female on the right side of the frontal lobe gray matter volume,the parietal lobe gray matter volume,occipital lobe gray matter volume were greater than the left side(P <0.05).4.The central sulcus of the men's top length,length of the central groove,the central groove depth,the central groove width before the standardization were greater than the female(P < 0.05),no gender differences after standardization of male and female(P > 0.05).Before the standardization of male and female on the left side of the central groove depth and width of the central sulcus was greater than the right side(P < 0.05).After standardization of men left in the middle of the groove depth and width of the central sulcus and women to the right in the middle of the groove width was greater than the left(P < 0.05),while women in the middle of the groove depth without side don't difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion1.The parameters such as volume,surface area of the brain,folding degrees of gender and side don't differences,was the shape of the brain differences between male and female end basis,to explore the Chinese of the brain function of gender and don't differences provide a basis.2.Parameters such as the central sulcus of the brain were there exist certain differences in gender and side don't,standardization of space could reduce the degree of parameter difference,reveals that the Chinese side of the cortex of gender differences and side don't have heterogeneity,nervous system lesions imaging diagnosis,for clinical neuropsychology research and to provide morphological basis for forensic identification,etc.
