| Objective: To sum up the common TCM syndromes of gastralgia in chronic gastritis patients by collectiong and analysing the clinical data through epidemiological investigation.To explore the relationship among age,gender,occupation,distribution and predisposing factors.To find out distribution rules of gastralgia in chronic gastritis and provide help for the treatment of chronic gastritis in traditional Chinese medical therapy.Methods: Conducting a questionnaire survey of 600 patients who have been diagnosed with chronic gastritis by gastroenterology department(inpatient and outpatient)of Ruikang Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Analyzing the clinical information in the questionnaire with statistical methods such as frequency analysis,clustering analysis,and summing up the distribution rules of common syndromes of gastralgia and the influence of related factors on chronic gastritis patients.Results:600 patients were clustered into four groups: 1.pattern of liver-stomach deficiency,liver-stomach depressed heat,dampness depression in spleen and stomach,and stasis obstructing collaterals of the stomach;2.pattern of spleen and stomach deficiency;3.pattern of spleen-stomach dampness-heat,cold-heat complex,food and drink stagnation;4.pattern of insufficiency of stomach yin syndrome.Female patients were more than male.Middle-age patients were the most,followed by the old and youth.Farmers occupied the largest proportion,followed by businessmen and workers.Seven-emotion internal damage and diet were the most important predisposing factors among others.Conclusions: The main symptoms of four clusters are listed as follows: 1.stomach duct and rib-side distending pain,acid reflux,burping,anorexia,vexation and agitation,depression,constipation,thin white coating,reddish tongue,wiry pulse;2.stomach duct distending and dull pain,fatigue,pale face,the stomach liking for pressure and warmth,burping,poor appetite,tastelessness,loose stools,white coating,reddish tongue,fine pulse;3.stomach duct distending pain,with or without burning pain,acid reflux,poor appetite,dry mouth,bitterness of mouth,ungratifying defecation,yellow urine,yellow thick or yellow greasy coating,red tongue,wiry pulse;4.stomach duct distending and burning pain,insomnia,hunger without desire for food,dry mouth,constipation,red tongue,fine pulse. |
