The Expression State Of YAP In Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinomas And Related Study

Objective:To investigate the expressions of YAP in the normal esophageal squamous epithelium and ESCC,and explore its role in the occurrence and development process of the ESCC.Methods:To analyse the correlations of the expressions of YAP and the relationship between the expression and clinicopathological features with the statistics,the expressions of YAP were detected by the SABC immune histochemistry in 103 cases of normal esophageal mucosal epithelia and 63 cases of ESCC(including 31 cases of high grade of ESCC?45 cases of midddle grade of ESCC and 27 cases of low grade of ESCC).Results:Immunohistochemistry showed that YAP in the basal layer of normal esophageal epithelial cells appeared pale yellow staining,in the esophageal cancer tissue was stained with dark brown,and the degree of staining was deepened.The positive expression of YAP rates gradually increased in normal epithelial tissues 5.83%(6/103),ESCC 43.69%(45/103),Both by x2 test(?2=39.64,P=0.000),the difference was statistically significant.Further analysis,high grade of ESCC 12.90%(4/31),midddle grade of ESCC44.44%(20/45)and low grade of ESCC77.78%(21/27).The three groups were compared with each other.high grade of ESCC group was compared with middle grade of ESCC group(?2=8.45,P=0.003),high grade of ESCC group was compared with low grade of ESCC group(?2=24.77,P=0.000)and the middle grade of ESCC group was compared with low grade of ESCC group(?2=5.55,P=0.020).In those comparisons the differences were statistically significant.Further analysis of the data found that YAP in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma of different pathological grading,lymph node metastasis and TNM staging of the different expression in each group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in age,sex,tumor location and pathological pattern,and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion : The high expression of YAP in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.The expression of YAP was related to differentiation degree,lymph node metastasis and the stages of TNM;This may provide some help for patients with esophageal cancer of differentiation degree,lymph node metastasis and the stages of TNM before operation...
