Objective : To investigate the diagnostic value of diffusion tensor imaging of different parameters in two different performance characteristics of FCDand improve the level of diagnosis of clinicians and imaging practitioners.Methods:We take 30 patients confirmed by pathology of FCD between March 2012 to July 2015 and 30 healthy subjects as research subjects.By reviewing the complete imaging data of above-mentioned cases,we conclude FCD "cortical thickening" and "white matter reduction" two typical features.In its diffusion tensor measurement diagram,we select the level showing the most obvious lesion and put three regions of interest in the lesion place of temporal lobe(ROI).The ROI is a 18mm2 area circle in that avoided containing cavity structure and hippocampus tissue.By the application software " mirror symmetry " method,we take three ROI in the area near the opposite side of the corresponding portion.The values measured on both sides of ADC and FA values within the ROI are averaged.By contrast ipsilateral and contralateral,ipsilateral comparison with normal control,using statistical t-test analysis we compared the diagnostic value of the different performance characteristics of the FCD diffusion tensor imaging and diffusion imaging in the difference between the results of different parameters.Results:In the measurement of diffusion tensor FA,FCD thickening of the cortex group,injured FA means 0.1880.023,Contralateral FA means 0.1890.027.The FA difference of both sides is 0.0010.022,what is not statistically significant(P>0.05);The FA of normal control group means 0.1940.012,whose difference of injured FCD is 0.0060.023,what is not statistically significant(P>0.05)too.FCD white matter reduction group,injured FA means 0.2450.068,Contralateral FA means0.3920.054.The FA difference of both sides is 0.1470.054,what is statistically significant(P<0.05);The FA of normal control group means 0.4510.017,whose difference of injured FCD is 0.2060.065,what is statistically significant(P<0.05)too.In diffusion tensor ADC measurement,FCD thickening of the cortex group,injured ADC means 9.5741.032(10-10mm2/s),Contralateral ADC means 8.9730.571(10-10mm2/s),The ADC difference of both sides is 0.6010.780(10-10mm2/s),what is statistically significant(P<0.05);The ADC of normal control group means 8.8820.822(10-10mm2/s),whose difference of injured FCD is 0.6921.133(10-10mm2/s),what is statistically significant(P<0.05);FCD white matter reduction group,injured FA means 9.7010.728(10-10mm2/s),Contralateral ADC means 9.1300.693(10-10mm2/s),The ADC difference of both sides is 0.5710.621(10-10mm2/s),what is statistically significant(P<0.05);he ADC of normal control group means 8.7020.892(10-10mm2/s),whose difference of injured FCD is 0.9991.163(10-10mm2/s),what is statistically significant(P<0.05)too.Conclusions: Diffusion tensor imaging can be used as an important means of temporal lobe FCD auxiliary examination.For ADC and FA values of DTI parameters,ADC has more diagnostic value in FCD cortex lesions;both values has obvious diagnostic value in FCD white batter lesions.
