The Correlation Study Of Cancer Related Fatigue And Quality Of Life?Hope In Liver Cancer Patients Who Treated With Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization

Objective:(1)To investigate the level of cancer related fatigue in liver cancer patients who treated with Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization.(2)To analyze the influence factors of cancer related fatigue.(3)To explore the relationship between quality of life,Hope leve and cancer related fatigue.Methods:Through Convenience sampling,carried out in a hospital in Dalian by using demographic information sheet,questionnaires of Cancer Fatigue Scale(CFS),the quality of life Scale(FACT-G)and Herth Hope Index(HHI).The patients whose clinical diagnosis was primary liver cancer and who treated with Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization during October 2014 to June 2015 were investigated.SPSS 17.0software package was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The overall score of cancer related fatigue in liver cancer patients who treated with TACE was(32.79�6.65),belonged to moderate fatigue.score of body fatigue,emotional fatigue,cognitive fatigue was(14.19�5.04)?(11.20�2.41)and(5.46�2.05).In the filed of body fatigue,he highest score is(4.10�1.09),the entry is�feel tired�;In the field of emotional fatuigue the highest is(3.16�1.02)and the entry is�concentrate on something�;In the field of cognitive fatigue,the highest score is(2.83�1.64)and the entry is�memory is redced�.(2)After Single factor analysis,the overall score of CRF about Age,gender,marital status,History of hepatitis B,cirrhosis of the liver,P > 0.05.The factors that impact on cancer related fatigue of liver cancer patients who treated with Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization included the level of education,family economic pressure,source of medical cost,hope and quality of life have statistical signification,P<0.05.(3)The total points of quality of life was(61.16�14.12).The score of cancer related fatigue was negatively correlated to the score of quality of life.In each dimension score from high to low is social/family status(17.84�3.39),body state(16.55�5.55),function and emotional state is(14.41�4.58)(12.36�4.69).Among them,the body state dimension the highest score is(3.02�1.15),the entry is �feel nausea�.The lowest score is(1.45�1.35),the entry is �lack of physical strength�.Dimension of social/family status the highest score is(3.60�0.55),the entry is�family understand and accept disease�and the lowest score is(2.13�1.15),the entry is�closely with friend�.Emotional state dimension the highest score is(2.64�1.02),the entry is �low confidence in conquering disease�;the lowest score is(1.74�1.09),the entry is �worried deteriorate�.In the dimension of function condition,the highest score is(3.27�0.95),the entry is �can accept their disease�and the lowest score is(1.27�0.94),the entry is�Sleep hinder�.(4)The overall points of hope was(32.36�5.51),the score of dimensions from high to low was Taking positive action(11.46�1.89),Keep close relationship with others(11.04�2.06),Positive attitude towards the reality and future(9.86�2.02).The score of hope was negatively correlated to cancer related fatigue.(5)The overall score of coping was(44.44�6.56),among them,the confrontation,avoidance and resignation of coping style was(17.39�4.45)?(15.83�2.56)(11.22�3.11).The score of cancer related fatigue was negatively correlated to the confrontation and avoidance of coping style and the total score of coping(r=-0.395,-0.274,P<0.01),and was positively correlated to resignation of coping style(r=0.172,P<0.05)Conclusion:(1)The cancer related fatigue,quality of life and hope in liver cancer patients who treated with TACE belonged to moderate fatigue.(2)The factors that impact on cancer related fatigue of liver cancer patients who treated with Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization included the level of education,family economic pressure,source of medical cost,hope and quality of life.(3)The overall points of quality of life,hope,�confrontation��avoidance� was negatively correlated to cancer related fatigue,�resignation�had positive correlation with cancer related fatigue,nurses should pay more attention to hope and quality of life,taking effective measures to improve the cancer related fatigue in liver cancer patients who treated with TACE.
