Objective:To investigate the relationship of the vulnerability of carotid plaque by 64 slice spiral computed tomography carotid artery angiography with the serum levels of Hs-CRP,ox-LDL and VEGF.Methods:1 From August 2013 to December 2015,choose 120 patients who were scanned with 64 slice spiral Computed tomography carotid artery angiography in our hospital,According to the CTA findings of carotid artery,the patients were divided into carotid artery plaque groups and no carotid artery plaque groups.According to CT value of the plaque,the plaque groups were classified into three different groups: fatty(soft)plaques defined as a plaque with a density value<50HU;mixed plaque defined with a density value between 50 and 119HU;and calcified plaque defined as a plaque with a density value>120HU.2 The morning venous blood was collected to measure the levels of Hs-CRP,ox-LDL,VEGF,group comparisons were made after the exclusion of other factors that may affect the elevation of markers.Results:1 120 cases of carotid artery CTA,Vulnerable(soft)plaque group 34 cases,mixed plaque group 32 cases,calcified group 24 cases and no plaque 30 cases.2 The serum levels of Hs-CRP,ox-LDL,VEGF in control group and plaque group: The serum levels of Hs-CRP,ox-LDL,VEGF in plaque group were significantly higher than that of no carotid artery plaque groups(control group)(P<0.01).The vulnerable plaque group,mixed plaque group were significantly higher than that of calcification group(P<0.05).The vulnerable plaque group compared with mixed plaque group showed no difference(P>0.05)3 Liner correlation analysis showed that: the levels of Hs-CRP,ox-LDL,VEGF in vulnerable plaque group was negatively correlated with the CT value of plaque(P<0.01),Hs-CRP,ox-LDL,VEGF of mixed plaque group and calcified plaque group had no obvious correlation with the CT value of plaque.Conclusion:1 Carotid artery CT angiography by 64 slice spiral,with high sensitivity and accuracy in diagnosis of the qualitative and quantitative of carotid atherosclerosis plaque,can completely show the form and quantity of atherosclerotic plaque,can accurately assess the nature of the plaque,and reflect the vulnerability of carotid plaque.2 The vulnerability of carotid atherosclerotic plaque was closely related to the levels of serum Hs-CRP,ox-LDL and VEGF.3 The detection of serum Hs-CRP,ox-LDL and VEGF levels can be used as an important index to assess the vulnerability of carotid atherosclerosis plaque.
