Objective: Earthquakes increase physical and mental illness as a serious natural disaster,which lead to various acute or chronic stress response.This study is to investigates the effect of 1976 Tangshan earthquake exposure in fetus and infancy on serum uric acid levels and the prevalence of hyperuricemia,so as to provide a scientific basis for the prevention of hyperuricemia.Methods: The subjects are workers from Kailuan Group and Shijiazhuang steelworks.They were divided into three groups according to whether experienced the 1976 Tangshan earthquake and the different period of earthquake exposure:fetal exposure 326 cases,infancy exposure 307 cases,normal control group 333 cases.Analyse serum uric acid levels and the prevalence of hyperuricemia between the three groups.Compare the general baseline data between the two groups of the hyperuricemia and normal uric acid.Hyperuricemia as the dependent variable,gender,body mass index(BMI),smoking,drinking,hypertension,diabetes mellitus,education,marital status,high density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein(LDL),Triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC)as independent variables were analyzed with Logistic regression analysis.All normal measurement data were said by meanąstandard deviation((?)ąs);Count data were analyzed by chi-square test.Results:1 Compared with the control group,fetal exposure group and infancy exposure group have elevated trends on serum uric acid,fetal exposure group of serum uric acid were higher than infancy exposure group,significant difference(P>0.05).There was significant differences with the prevalence of hyperuricemia among the three groups(F=12.278,P<0.001),fetal exposure group and infancy exposure group had greater the prevalence of hyperuricemia than the control group,fetal exposure group was higher than infancy exposure group.There was significant differences with the prevalence of hyperuricemia of men among the three groups(?~2=20.628,P<0.001),while prevalence of hyperuricemia of women no significant difference(P>0.05).2 According to hyperuricemia diagnosis standard,a total of 858 people(88.8%)belong to the normal uric acid group,108(11.2%)belong to the hyperuricemia group.Compared with the normal uric acid group,the hyperuricemia group significantly elevats in body mass index,systolic pressure,diastolic blood pressure,fasting blood glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol levels,while the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the hyperuricemia group significantly increases in prevalence rate of hypertension(P<0.05),low high density lipoprotein(P<0.001),high triglyceride(P<0.001),high cholesterol(P<0.05).There were no significant differences on low density lipoprotein,prevalence rate of low high density lipoprotein,education,marital status in two groups.The levels of SUA of depression is lower than other mental disease and normal group,while there were no significant difference.3 Results of logistic regression analysis:the risk factors influence on hyperuricemia included low high density lipoprotein(OR=1.998,95%CI: 1.222-3.267),high triglyceride(OR=2.618,95%CI:1.647-4.160),high body mass index(OR=1.616,95%CI:1.024-2.548),fetal experienced earthquake stress group(OR=2.895,95%CI: 1.652-5.075),infancy experienced earthquake stress group(OR=1.882,95%CI: 1.044-3.394).Conclusion:1 The study showed a high level serum uric acid and a higher prevalence of hyperuricemia among fetus and infancy experienced Tangshan earthquake population,Tangshan earthquake as a source of stress increased long-term incidence of hyperuricemia.2 After adjusting for other risk factors of the study showed,fetal experienced earthquake stress were 2.9 times higher than the control group for the risk of hyperuricemia,infancy experienced earthquake stress were 1.9 times higher than the control group for the risk of hyperuricemia,experienced the earthquake stress was an independent risk factor for hyperuricemia.3 Hyperuricemia aggravated the risk of metabolic syndrome such as lipid metabolism disorders and obesity.Low high density lipoprotein,high triglyceride and high BMI increased prevalence of hyperuricemia,respectively 2.0,2.6,1.6.4 After early experienced the earthquake stress,prevalence of hyperuricemia had increasing trend in men.
