With the rapid development of peony industry,the disease of peony is increasing gradually,and the harm is more and more serious,disease caused peony plant dysplasia,reduce its ornamental value and the quality of root bark,all above had a serious impact for the peony's economy.This research is mainly to investigate the disease of peony in Hunan,in order to understand the kinds of disease,the incidence,the disease severity,in order to determine the type of pathogen,we used the pathogen identification and the the pathogenicity test,and though the experimental research on the method of indoor toxicity measurement,which aim to provide scientific basis for the future in Hunan peony disease research.The results were as follows:1.According to the field survey and research,we found that the disease of Peony gray mold and Peony blank spot.The investigation showed that Peony gray mold main damage peony petals,buds,stems and leaves,the onset period was March to May.Peony blank spot main damage peony leaf,petiole and stems,the morbidity period was from May to September.Both of these diseases had a serious effect on the production of Hunan peony.2.For determine the pathogen of Peony gray mold and Peony blank spot,we used the morphological identification,the pathogen of Peony gray mold is Botrytis cinerea,and the pathogenicity test demonstrated that the pathogen is Botrytis cinerea,and the pathogen of Peony blank spot is Alternaria,and the pathogenicity test showed that the results are the same.3.In this study,we also used the molecular identification,amplification and sequencing of DNA by PCR,and then the BLAST comparison of sequencing in NCBI,the result suggested that the ITS sequence of the 4 strains is highly homologous to the Alternaria alternate and Alternaria tenuissima,the homology is 100%.4.By the method of indoor toxicity measurement,the results showed that the 50% carbendazim 500×and 70% thiophanate-methyl 1000×~2000×could control the Peony gray mold,and the 60% difenoconazole and 50% azoxystrobin 500×could control the Peony blank spot.
