Hydraulic facilities have great influence on the original ecological system of rivers,however,studies aiming at reducing this negative effects are rare,far less than the current development,so it is of great significance for the healthy development of nation's hydropower industry to accelerate the research and construction on the ecological restoration measures of natural rivers.Taken the fishway project of Dipanzi Hydropower Station located in Qilian City,Qinghai Province,this study presents fishway structural design and physical model experiment to validate and optimize the flow parameters based on the hydrological data,topography and fish resources of research area.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the basic data in the research area,we determined to choose Qilian naked crap as the target fish.The structure of fishway uses combination of traditional vertical slot fishway and imitation natural fishway.The national fishway design guidelines and related design standards were referred to determine the geometric size of the fishway structure.(2)Established the physical experiment model on the geometric scale of 1:10,measured and analyzed the water surface line,mean flow velocity and the ratio of energy dissipation of the whole model.The results show that in the downstream of straight part and the imitation natural channel part,the velocity and the pool room dissipation rate is much higher than the allowable value due to the water drop in the junction of the straight part and the imitation natural channel part,so part of the fishway's cross-sections cannot meet the design requirements.(3)By adding the width of these cross-sections'vertical slot in the downstream,reducing the thickness of stone layer at the beginning of the imitation natural channel part as an optimization method,the problem is solved properly and the model test results show that the optimized fish way can meet the requirements of fish migration.Through the analysis and experimental research of this paper,we can provide a reference for the design of the fish way and improvement of river habitat engineering in China.
