Cleaning is an important part in the process of peanut harvesting mechanization,and cleaning device is one of important parts of peanut harvester,which working condition directly affects the performance of the whole machine.The existing peanut harvester cleaning device has many problems of low cleaning rate,high loss rate,high stem content and poor adaptability.Therefore,improving the working performance of peanut harvester cleaning device is one of the urgent problems to be solved at present.A new type of peanut pod cleaning device was put forward in this paper.First of all,the composition,ratio,outer dimensions,friction coefficient and floating velocity of the mixture were obtained through carrying out experimental study on the cleaning characteristics of peanut mixture,and the differences of cleaning characteristic between various components of peanut mixture were analyzed.Then,based on the above research,the working principle and structure of the peanut pod cleaning device were determined,and the force and movement characteristics of the cleaning device were analyzed,and the factors affecting the cleaning performance of the device were determined.According to the structure characteristics of cleaning device,the indoor test was divided into two parts: light impurity cleaning test and stem separating test.By using the self-designed peanut pods cleaning device test-bench,the laboratory experiments were carried out.And the impurity rate and loss rate were used as performance evaluation indexes in the experimental process.Through single factor,orthogonal,regression and other test methods,the influence laws of the structure motion parameters of cleaning device on cleaning performance were analyzed,and the mathematical models between the structure motion parameters and cleaning performance indexes were established,and the optimal combination of parameters was obtained.The results show that when the cross-flow fan speed is 920r/min,the distance between sliding plate and fan impeller is 100 mm,the width of discharging exit is 50 mm,the gap between double rollers is 2mm,the separation roller speed is 300r/min,and the angle between separating device and horizontal plane is 35°,the performance of peanut cleaning system would be best with the impurity rate of 0.89% and the cleaning loss rate of 0.62%.Finally,the optimized peanut pod cleaning device was matched onto peanut combined harvester,and lots of experiments were carried out in the field.The results show that the cleaning device has stable working performance and meets the national industry standard.
