As a typical ecologically fragile area,Minqin county is widely concerned by the government and the public.The serious deterioration of the ecological environment in the Shiyang River Basin has also aroused the attention of the Party Central Committee,the State Council and the wide concern of the public.Minqin County has made a series of strategic choices to cope with the ecological crisis,Minqin County began to implement the shut in pressure field,grazing removal,planting structure adjustment and the development of efficient water-saving agriculture technology and ecological environmental governance policy from 2003,remarkable results have been achieved,it has greatly reduced the water consumption of agriculture,increased the flow of surface water and temporarily relieved the crisis of water shortage in Minqin,but water saving agriculture has not been well developed.The present study describes the present situation of crop planting structure in the seven years from 2010 to 2016.The quota-area method was used to calculate the water requirement of different crops in five irrigation areas,based on the multiple linear programming theory,the better planting area of the five irrigation areas is obtained,and the water saving benefit is evaluated.(1)From the analysis of the current situation of the planting structure from 2010 to 2016 years we can know that the dominant position of wheat in the planting structure is gradually lost.By analyzing the crop planting area of five irrigated areas in Minqin County from 2010 to 2016.It was found that the planting area of wheat in four irrigated areas has been decreasing.Taking 2010 as the base year,the order of change from large to small in 2016 is Huqu irrigated area?Quanshan irrigated area?Changning irrigated area?Huanhe irrigated area,the planting area of wheat in the Huqu irrigation area in 2016 was 916.36 hm2 less than that in 2010,and Huanhe irrigation area in 2016 was 446.94 hm2 less than that in 2010.The planting area of wheat in the Huqu irrigation area in 2016 was 3 times less than that in 2010,Huanhe irrigation area is twice less that,the above analysis shows that the dominant position of wheat is gradually losing.(2)From the comparison of the planting structure in the five irrigation districts in Minqin County we can find that the pattern of planting structure changed obviously in recent years.Through the analysis of the crop planting area in five irrigated areas of Minqin County from 2010 to 2016,there is a common feature,the planting area of forage has been increasing since 2014,Taking 2010 as the base year,the order of change from large to small in 2016 is Huqu irrigated area?Baqu irrigated area?Quanshan irrigated area?Huanhe irrigated area?Changning irrigated area,in the Huqu irrigation area,the area of forage planting in 2016 was 2474.84 hm2 more than that in 2010,Changning irrigation area was 385 hm2 more than that in 2010.The planting area of pasture in Huqu irrigation area has increased by about 14 times.In Changning irrigated area,no forage was planted before 2013,now,the planting area of forage was increased year by year.It shows that the pattern of planting structure has changed obviously in recent years.(3)From the analysis of water demand in five irrigated areas we can know that the water demand of vegetables as a high water consumption crop has always been high.Calculation of water demand for each crop in five irrigation districts of Minqin County from 2010 to 2016,in the past 7 years,the irrigation areas have been reducing the planting of vegetables and reducing the water demand,but the water demand in four irrigated areas has been the largest proportion of them.Taking 2010 as the base year,the order of change from large to small in 2016 is Baqu irrigated area?Changning irrigated area?Huanhe irrigated area?Quanshan irrigated area,in Baqu irrigated area,the planting area of vegetables was up to 55 million 574 thousand and 900 m3 in 2010,in 2016,the area was 13 million 64 thousand and 700 m3 less than that.The water demand for vegetables in Quanshan irrigated area is based on the year of 2010,by 2016,the demand for water was not decreased,but increased.(4)We can find out in the water saving benefit evaluation after the optimization of the planting structure in the five irrigation areas,the adjustment of planting structure can solve the ecological problem of water resource.Through the construction of a single objective planting structure optimization model,water demand in every irrigation area has been reduced,Minqin county needs 26 million 999 thousand and 300 m3 less water than before,saved water can be used to plant forage.
