In the regions short of water,the adustment of planting structure is also an importantmeasure to save water in agriculture besides water-saving irrigation techniques andcultivation techniques.In this paper,starting from the basic theory research of structureadjustment of water ecological in minqin county by shiyang river downstream.The maindevelopment and results of the study are as the following:1.On the basis of spot investigation of the inputs and outputs of more than40farmers,who from upstream,midstream and downstream in Minqin County,carefully combing theresearch progress at home and abroad on the planting structure and water-saving plantingstructure,preliminary study on water-saving structural adjustment in Minqin County can beexpanded. In the study process, the current state-of-the-art strategies is used, forwater-saving cultivation of structural adjustment programs to propose one center and twobasic points,and the four cardinal principles.2.A comparative analysis of the evolution the Minqin County status of water resourcesand agricultural structure is developed. The existing problems is identified. In the industrialstructure dominated by agriculture,agricultural water severely crowd ecological and livingwater. Increasingly acute contradictions of the water between the water and farming isoccurred,and its causes are analyzed. Second,based on the current actual use of water,potential analysis of agricultural water-saving is developed. the results show that theagricultural water-saving potential can not be ignored,and should vigorously promote.3.This model benefit Shou-Yu Chen proposed multi-objective fuzzy optimizationmodel,then it is used in the Minqin irrigation,in Minqin unique ecological environment andResources to make a set of ecological,economic and social objectives for the integratedbenefitof the optimal cropping patterns. This program focuses on the proportion of the foodand cash crops:0.23:0.27. From food safety, food production in minqin county can as long asmore than food production line (400kg/(years),20%, and the area sown to grain cropsdecreased to0.9667hectares, compared with before1.3093to reduce0.3426hectares. Andthis paper proposed to greatly reduce the high water consumption crops of wheat,corn, onions,while increasing,low energy consumption and high water-efficient cash crops ofcotton,sunflower,melons etc.Again to put forward the optimum planting pattern has carriedon the qualitative analysis, the feasibility study, the results show that water ecologicalplanting structure of the application of the comprehensive economic benefit is raised by7%,water conservation benefits6%, social and ecological benefits are suitable for minqin regiondevelopment.4.Finally,make a few suggestions for water-saving planting structure adjustment. Thesuggestions is that the government’s macro-control levers,market-oriented,based onadvanced science and technology for the protection of the initiative of farmers to ensure thatwater restrictions Minqin able to take the road of sustainable development.
