Illegal logging and deforestation is a severe problem that frequently confronted in forest law enforcement.In practice,in order to promptly prevent illegal acts of forest destruction and cause criminals to obtain appropriate punishment,it is necessary to quickly investigate and deal with cases according to the Forest Law and related regulations.It is an essentially technical problem to deal with the cases in time,to deal with cases scientifically and to determine the volume of illegally cut trees.At present,our country mainly adopts the method of monomorphic volume table of ground diameter to solve this problem,but which was compiled in advance,and the average data index in a certain area was not specific to the place where the crime occurred.The error of calculation is too large and there is no good solution.The case is not convincing.Moreover,illegal logging is,after all,an accidental case.The overall compilation of a one-element volume table for each tree species requires a large amount of economic and technical input.So up to now,the single-element volume table of the ground diameters in China has not been popularized either.Especially when the rare and precious trees are stolen,the groundless diameter volume table is unavailable.In term of the problems above,the purpose of this study is to improve the recovery effect of stolen wood accumulation,to enhance its pertinence and feasibility,and to analyze and expand the theory of single tree measurement.In this paper,a new technique of volume restoration with innovation and practicability is proposed,which is,"based on the method of height of ground diameters".The basic formula for the restoration of stolen wood stumpsis as follows.In this research,it starts from the basic principle of measuring standing timber volume by shape number method,and successfully solves the problem of measuring the parameters of stolen wood by moving down trees to calculate the position of section to the base diameter and defining the index of height of ground diameter.Progress in this approach has made it possible to estimate the recovery of stolen wood stumps in the field.Besides establishing a detailed theoretical system,the method is proved to be scientific and feasible through sample experiments.The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1)the theoretical model of the reconstruction of stolen wood product by the method of height of ground diameter.(2)the establishment of experimental model and data processing for the restoration of stolen wood product by the method of ground diameter height;(3)the computer simulation and effect analysis of the ground diameter height method for the restoration of stolen wood product;(4)the working procedure for the restoration of stolen wood product by the method of ground diameter height;and(5)the work procedure of restoring stolen wood product by the methodof ground diameter height;The technical requirements for the restoration of stolen wood stumps by the method of ground diameter height,and the technical evaluation of the restoration of stolen wood stumps by the method of height of ground diameters.Through the research work above,the conclusions are as follows: firstly,the ground diameter height method is a kind of reliable theory,controllable recovery error,the executable stolen wood accumulation restoration technology.The foundation diameter height method is a kind of theory foundation reliable,the restoration error is controllable,has the operational stolen wood accumulation restoration technology.If it is actively promoted in future cases of illegal logging of trees,it will be helpful to speed up the operation of the case speed,improve the quality of handling cases and express practical significance.Secondly,the more sample trees were used to measure the average height of ground diameter,the better the recovery effect of stolen wood was.The experimental results of Robinia pseudoacacia and Quercus acutissima showed that the number of sample trees should only be increased to more than 4 individuals.The volume restoration error can be strictly controlled within 10%,which can satisfy the needs of general case work.Thirdly,given that the stolen wood product recovered by the method of height of ground diameter is calculated according to the diameter of the root of the stolen wood and the specific parameters of the location of the crime,its case is more targeted and is more easily recognized by the parties concerned.So in the future,the case of forest illegal cutting will be dealt with.It can be used as an alternative to the traditional monolithic volume table method of ground diameters.This study provided a new operational method for the restoration and identification of the volume of illegal cutting in the case of timber steal,and plays a significant role in promoting the forest law enforcement work in China in the future.
