With the rapid development of mankind, the expansion of human living space has led to the shrinking of the range of wildlife activities and the fragmentation of them.Manis is one of them. Many ancient, specialized and valuable species are in danger of extinction.Manis spp.is one of them. The problems faced with pangolins are not only habitat but also the risk of poaching because of its great medicinal and edible value;all species of pangolins have been listed as critically endangered species by IUCN and may be extinct at any time.In order to solve the severe situation of the endangered extinction, the current study adopts: On the one hand, the wild individuals are introduced into captivity, and the number of wild pangolins is restored through artificial rearing and stocking. On the other hand,it controls drug use, controls poaching, and protects the habitat of pangolins. However, the breeding and breeding of pangolin,in terms of scale and industrialization, has not yet been fully successful in the world, but only in the trial stage of the small population. This research focuses on the field survey, site selection, construction and daily behavior of Manis javanica, and carries out a series of related research activities in the field investigation, base investigation and experimental monitoring.Contents 1.Taking the Qinling-Huaihe River(Winter in January, zero isotherm)as the boundary,an in-depth investigation was conducted on the southeast and southwestern provinces and cities in order to understand the market price of medicinal tablets and the degree of residents' awareness of protection of pangolins.Secondly,it explores the workshops and living areas of the base and follows the practice of pangolins to improve the bases and bring them closer to the wilderness environment. The third part is the introduction of the wildly-received Malay pangolins(mainly from the Yunnan border)as experimental subjects to explore the classification and rhythm of various daily activities of Malay pangolins adapted to captive environments. The fourth part is to explore the distribution pattern of the daily activities of captive Malay pangolin in combination with the local climate, and make a basic summary of the daily work of captive Malay pangolins. The main results and conclusions are as follows:(1)The price of raw nails for getting nailed nails was floating between 5000-8000yuan/kg,with little difference in each region. At the same time, the basic literacy of wild animals in some southern provinces and cities has been obtained. In the developed regions, the enforcement of the rule of law has become more comprehensive and full, the means of propaganda have become more diverse, and the education level of citizens has been generally higher,so that the entire herbal medicine industry is organized and economically backward.Inadequate oversight and serious loopholes in the legal system have led to a lack of awareness among residents on wildlife protection and a series of adverse phenomena such as poaching.(2)By understanding the relevant indicators of Malay Pangolin habitats and combining the indicators for screening, the area suitable for pangolin establishment was obtained;this included the southern part of the Hengduan Mountains in Yunnan Province, southern Nanling in Guangdong Province, and the southwestern Wuyishan Mountains in Fujian Province.Through the research and observation at the base,a preliminary design for the field was carried out, including the location of the small environment, the direction of the construction of the building, the orientation of the house, the design of the breeding room, and the design of the imitation ecological site.(3)Based on the research and observation of the base, the construction of the ecological improvement measures for the base of the captivity area should be built, including changing the water source, increasing the flow of activities and the construction of the imitation ecological stream, building the sandwich wall in the enclosures, and increasing the humidity shower generator in the enclosures.(4)The pangolin, which is normally adapted to the environment of captivity, begins with 21:00:00-23:00:00(adult pangolin first than subadult activity)and the duration of continuous activity ranged from 350 min to 400 min.The daily behavior is about 5%,walking behavior is about 20-25%,and the behavior and climbing behavior are around5-10%.The hiding behavior is around 50-60%.This provides a basic data reference for captive Malayan pangolin.(5)Through collating and collecting and summarizing the process of captive pangolin in this base, the key points of the three stages of captive pangolin in captivity were obtained, including routine routine(environmental cleaning, trough cleaning, recording related data),introduction of disinfection, disease treatment, food gradual change, and breeding procedure. The basic operation procedures and methods of pangolin are introduced into the captive environment.
