Iris ensata is a perennial herb which blongs to the genus Iris.It has thick scape, large flowers, graceful position and elegant color and is always represented “love and blessing”.Recently, the study on I.ensata mainly focused on classification, genetic diversity, basic biology research etc.In order to get better application of I.ensata as cut flowers with the highly ornamental resistant, this paper mainly studied on the preservation technology, pigment stability and crystal dry flower manufacturing process. The results can provide the technical guidance for I.ensata applications and lay a theoretical foundation on preservation mechanism and flower pigment stability. The main findings are as follows:1.The results by using the low temperature treatment of 3 species of cut flower preservation shows that in the conditions of 4 oC,95%-98% humidity procooling 24 h without any chemical reagents, the vase life of single flower was 3.8 days;under the treatment in 4 oC,95%-98% humidity colding 5 days the flower has a good preservation, and in colding 10 days it still has a good viewing quality.2.The cut flower was preserved by plant hormones, organic acid and mineral salt on the basis of single-factor test. The results showed that the effect of preservation was CaCl2> 6-BA>CA> CK.The vase time of the cut flower treated with 1000 mg·L-1 CaCl2 was prolonged significantly, reaching 6.3 d,the maximum flower diameter was 11.34 cm,and the maximum number of flowers arrived was 3.3 d later than that of the control.3.The response surface regression analysis was conducted to obtain the optimum ingredients of cut I.ensata flowers preservation technology. The results showed that the nonlinear quadratic polynomial prediction models of CaCl2,6-BA and CA were obtained by single factor preserving agent with different concentration gradients: T=0.35+0.578 A+0.0203B+0.00483 C-0.0001 AB-0.00011 AC-7×10-6 BC-0.0219 A2-5.9×10-5 B2-1.59×10-6 C2,The calibration coefficient was 0.7276,the coefficient of determination was 0.8808,and the goodness of fit was high. The optimum combination of preservative formulation was 30 mg·L-1Sucrose + 250 mg·L-1 8-HQ + 10.66 mg·L-1 6-BA + 108.95 mg·L-1 CA + 909.95 mg·L-1 CaCl2.The vase life of the flower was up to 6.8 days, close to the model prediction value 6.74.The maximum flower diameter was 11.85 cm,which had a high ornamental. At the same time, alleviating the degradation rate of soluble protein, improving the activity of SOD,slowing the increase of MDA content and slowing the damage of cell membrane system.4.The results of the research on the stability of pigment and color retention of I.ensata were as follows. The maximum absorption wavelength of I.ensata pigment was 553 nm;the pigment had good heat resistance, room temperature and with the increase of pH value changefrom purple to yellow green, the best preserved flower pigment pH 3;Ca2+、sucrose and citric acid treatment had significant coloring effect;petals color retention agent combination formula12% sugar +7% citric acid +0.05 mol L-1 CaCl2 color effect was best, and the 300 D light can also maintain the original color PURPLE-VIOLET GROUP N81-C destructive test conditions(Royal Horticultural Society card).5.The results of crystal flower manufacturing process showed that the I.ensata flower which embedded in 65 oC column chromatography silica gel, microwave heating 90 s under power 80 w,indoor cooling 120 min was the best; With hard and soft crystal epoxy coated crystal epoxy(m A/ mB = 3: 1)were fabricated with glass rigid material and elastic soft material jade cicada flower crystal flower crafts, and the best curing methods was 65 oC and 6 h in oven treatment.
