| In the field of hybrid rice breeding,China has been in the world’s leading position from the beginning till now.Because China is a veritable agricultural country,people love rice,to the huge population,how to effectively solve the food problem in China becoming a very critical issue.This paper starts from the brief history of the development of hybrid rice in China,clarifying the power and process of the development of hybrid rice in China especially through the elaboration of the advantages of the development of Yunnan-type hybrid rice in Yunnan Province.It reveals the development of hybrid rice in China from the perspective of technological evolution and significant results of the difficult time and it has an important practical significance.The theory of three-category breeding was proposed by Japanese scientists and truly found in our country.Yuan Longping as the representative of the rice experts for China’s hybrid rice breeding industry has made a great contribution.The experts of hybrid rice in each province has also made irrefutable achievements in the environment of their own provinces.Among them,the realization and application of hybrid rice breeding technology in Yunnan Province is an important content which can not be ignored.The development of Dian-type hybrid rice breeding technology in Yunnan Province has gone through four stages: the breeding of Yunnan-type Hong-hongying male Japonica rice and the success of three-category matching,the settlement of plant type breeding problem and the improvement of Yunnan soft rice,the theory of two-category hybrid breeding and temperature-sensitive sterility and female infertility.Dian-type hybrid rice breeding research team and Yuan Longping hybrid rice research team in the process of scientific research in the different aspects are mainly reflected in the research process,policy support,geographical environment,technical route and the difficulty of promotion and so on.Scientific work is characterized by exploratory,creative and precise.At the same time,scientific development also requires national policy,scientific system,scientific rewards and social environment and other aspects supporting. |
