Taihang Mountains from the Fen River, east of the North China Plain, south to the north bank of the Yellow River, north of Yanshan Mountains, and the Taihang Mountains is the transition area between the North China Plain and the Loess Plateau. And the South Pacific line mainly refers to the Xinxiang City in Henan Province and Jiaozuo City Administrative District of the Taihang Mountains area. With Henan vigorously developing the South Pacific line,a master plan was made according to Xinxiang South Pacific travel resort in 2014,so carrying out medicinal plant resources research work of the South Pacific line timely become more important and urgent. However, there is no report on the status of medicinal plant resources in the South Pacific line, and there is no specific summary. In this paper, through the investigation of the status quo of wild medicinal plant resources in the South Pacific line, some suggestions for the development, utilization and protection of medicinal plant resources in the South Pacific line was put, accumulating the data for th e medicinal plant resources and vegetation research in the So uth Pacific. In t his study,we investigated the medicinal plant resources on the South Taihang Mountains and have obtained the true and reliable theoretical data on the species and genus of medicinal plants in the South Pacific line. This is of great importance to the development, utilization and protection of the southern Taihang Mountains.Taihangshan medicinal plant resources investigations, field searches and collectiones of plant specimens, home to visit the mountain residents was done through several times from Sep.2014 to Dec.2016,understanding the actual situation of medicinal plants, and the identification was conducted in the laboratory one by one. There are more than 160 species of plant specimens collected in the South Pacific Mountains.According to the survey and the available information, the conclusions are below:1.The main wild medicinal plants in the South Pacific were 67 families and 122 genera and 134 species.Among them, there were 116 species of 105 genera and 105 families of dicotyledonous plants,10 species of 4 families,9 genera,4 species of gymnosperms 4 families and 4 genera,Plants 4 families 4 genera 4 species.2.The department of Rosaceae,Compositae,Labiatae,Umbelliferae,Leguminosae,Polygonaceae,Rat Lee Branch,Muxidae,Amaranth,Ranunculaceae have the majority of wild medicinal plants in South Pacific line. The distribution of wild temperate plants in the southern part of the Taihang Mountains can be divided into 11 distri bution areas, among which the distribution of the northern temperate zone, the distribution of pan-tropics and the distribution of East Asia are 38.98%,16.10% and 14.41% of the total genera respectively.3.South Pacific line is rich in biomass,Forsythia, jujube, apricot, hawthorn,Polygonum multiflorum,Angelica, burdock,Pueraria, rubescens, tea can be developmented and utilized appropriately.4.Medicinal value in South Pacific line is distributed and larger, but the biomass(storage)less urgent need to strengthen the protection of medicinal plant resourcesare: Bupleurum,Codonopsis, heterophylla,Taxus chinensis,Achyranthes, bitter buckwheat,etc.5.The suggestiones ofprotection and development of medicinal vegetation resources in South Pacific:(1)South Pacific have less rainfall, medicinal plant biomass is generally less than normal, therefore, the South Pacific line of medicinal vegetation resources should be protected mainly under the conditions of the regulatory system to allow moderate limited development.(2)South Taihang slopes, soil organic matter is less, annual accumulated temperature is low, rainfall is less,it isnot suitable for land reclamation of medicinal plants,we should stop reclaiming the land to plant herbs productionon the hillside, developing the eco-tourism and ot her ways to in crease mountain farmers, income is relia ble.(3)Rare medicinal vegetation resources in the South Pacif ic are in situ protection or ex situ protection.(4)Strengthen the development of available medicinal vegetation resources and protect rare medicinal vegetation resources using modern biotechnology. |
