Wild Pyrus betulaefolia Bunge. resources in China are abundant, but there are only few studies on classification and evaluation system of Bunge from different resources. Therefore,in this paper,the Pyrus betulaefolia Bunge resources of 12 couties around Taihang Mountain as materials.Explored the Pyrus betulaefolia Bunge. by field investigation.And according to the morphology of major organs about different types wild Bunge resources,such as branches, leaves and fruits,combined with the method of SSR markers to classify the wild Bunge resources around Taihang Mountain, genetic diversity study. In order to understand the main types and genetic variation of different types of Pyrus betulaefolia resources in key survey areas around Taihang Mountains. Provide a theoretical basis for the preliminary classification of different types of Pyrus betulaefolia resources and better exploitation.The main findings are as follows:1. Wild Pyrus betulaefolia resources of twelve couties aroud Taihang Mountains mainly distribute in(35.06 ~ 39.22) ° N,(112.03 ~ 114.36) ° E, with an altitude of 69 ~ 1136 m. Wild Bunge resources are most concentrated in six counties including Laiyuan County, Ci County, Lincheng County, Xingtai County in Hebei, and Linzhou City in Henan, Qinshui County in Shanxi.2. Eight morphological characters and four numeric characters of the leaf and branch of Taihang Mountains wild Bunge resources were investigated, and wild Bunge resources were preliminarily classified based on this; the main branches morphological characters of each category were made clear.3. 8 pairs of primers with good polymorphism and clear amplification bands were selected from the 23 pairs of SSR primers. 8 pairs of primers were used as primers for PCR amplification, 37 of which were polymorphic.Each pair primers amplified Average 4.6 locis, each primer amplified at least three bands,up to six.4. 58 wild Bunge resources were classified into three major groups using 8 pairs of SSR primers. A high level of genetic diversity about resources in Qinshui County, which has greater potential5. The analysis of phylogenetic tree shows that genetic relationships of wild Bunge resources in different areas of Taihang Mountains are different: genetic relationship of wild Bunge resources in Shanxi and Henan is close, which might have the same origin. Wild Bunge resources of Ci County and Laiyuan County in Hebei Province are close in genetic relationship, clustered into the same class.6. Two distinctive germplasm resources were selected and saved: seedlings originated from sucker from Laiyuan County, Hebei Province and CX 3, from Cixian city, Hebei Province.
