Rehabilitation landscape developed from Europe and the United States and other developed countries is a landscape model that can improve visitors ' mood or help patients to restore health.As an important element in the landscape,plants play an important role in promoting the health of human body.With the development of rehabilitation landscape design and the deepening of plant chemical ecology,people pay more attention to the effect of plant volatile compounds on human health.At the same time,they are concerned about the "rehabilitation landscape-plant environment-human health" between the three effects.This paper summarizes the related contents and previous literatures of rehabilitation landscape,aromatic plants,garden plant volatile compounds and their effects on human health.Seven kinds of aromatic plants with potential research value and use value in the rehabilitation landscape were selected and some researches were carried out.They were Murraya exotica L.,Gardenia stenophylla Merr.,Duranta repens L.,Aglaia odorata Lour.,Melissa officinalis L.,Salvia guaranitica‘Black and Blue'and Myrfus communis‘Variegata'.The method of headspace solid-phase microextraction and gas chromatography mass spectrometry was used to study the plants.Volatile substances of seven species plant were analyzed and determined to determine the type and relative content of its whole volatile compounds and determine its nature.Young volunteers that are good physical condition and no family history of disease are from school.They smell seven kinds of aromatic plants,the biofilter and the electronic sphygmomanometer were used to measure the skin electricity,skin temperature and EEG as well as blood pressure and heart rate before and after the human body were smelled.A single factor analysis of variance and matching T-test were used to determine the difference of physiological indexes before and after fragrance.The SCL-90 scale and POMS scale were perfused before and after fragrance of aromatic plants,and the effects of aromatic plant volatile compounds on human mental health were determined by matching T-test.The results showed that the volatile compounds species of plants were diverse,mainly composed of alkanes,esters,alcohols,phenols,aldehydes,ketones,carboxylic acids and nitrogen-containing phosphorus-containing compounds and so on.The main volatiles of the Murraya exotica L.flowers in the bloom period were 1,4-Pentadiene(9.506%)?Phenylethyl alcohol(5.699%)?14(15)-EpETE(5.676%)?Benzaldehyde(5.444%)?Linalool(5.197%)?Benzeneacetaldehyde(4.124%)?2,2,3,3-TetraMethylbutane(3.389%)?Indole(2.862%)?Farnesene(2.790%)?Benzyl alcohol(2.349%)?Hexane(2.349%)?Methyl benzoate(2.212%).The main volatiles of the Gardenia stenophylla Merr.were Linalool(15.525%)??-Ocimene(9.887%)?Farnesene(4.838%)?(Z)-3-Hexenyl tiglate(2.443%).The main volatiles of the Duranta repens L.flowers in the bloom period were Hexane(16.445%)?Ocimene(14.334%)?1,3-Pentadiene(6.233%)?Sarcosine(4.058%).The main volatiles of the Aglaia odorata Lour.were ?-Caryophyllene(13.524%)?Germacrene D(9.285%)??-Cadinene(5.122%)?Hexane(5.085%)?Methyl jasmonate(4.485%)?Muurolene(4.070%)?Bicyclosesquiphellandrene(2.583%)??-Elemene(2.209%)?The main volatiles of Melissa officinalis L.leaves were Dazomet(8.515%)??-Caryophyllene(5.089%)?Hexane(4.322%)?Nerol(2.957%)?Citral(2.764%)?Citronellol(1.987%).The main volatiles of Salvia guaranitica ‘Black and Blue' leaves were Mevalonic acid(7.470%)?Germacrene D(7.373%)??-Elemene(6.228%)??-Caryophyllene(4.298 %)??-Cadinene(4.269 %)?Leaf alcohol(4.091 %)?Monoerucin(3.122 %)??-Muurolene(2.914%).The main volatiles of Myrfus communis ‘Variegata' leaves were Myrtenyl acetate(8.122%)?15-OxoETE(8.121%)?Eucalyptol(6.024%)??-Pinene(4.781%)?Linalool(4.432%)?O-Acetylsalicylhydroxamic Acid(2.973%)?D-Limonene(2.608%)?15d-PGA1(2.602%)?Linalyl acetate(2.587%)?(-)-Myrtenol(1.688%).The vast majority of chemicals are aromatic,and most of them can also be used as food spices flavor additives.Through the smell of incense experiments can show that aromatic plants volatile compounds on the whole of human health have a certain improvement.In the biofeedback measurement,the data were not significantly different.However,the overall trend of data changes,sniffing can make the body to ease fatigue,improve attention.At the same time,through the smell of aroma can reduce the body's blood pressure and heart rate,people become relaxed and calm.Among them,according to the trend of changes in ? brain waves can be speculated that Murraya exotica L.fragrance may contain the chemical substances which can improve the creativity of women,for men may help to increase their attention.The aroma of Gardenia stenophylla Merr.flower,the leaves of Melissa officinalis L.and Myrfus communis‘Variegat' may help to increase the attention of the human body.Duranta repens L.and Salvia guaranitica‘Black and Blue' are able to help people to stimulate the imagination.After the smell experiment,mental health of human has a certain change,to the positive state of development.Seven plants for stress,anxiety factors are obvious,before and after the smell of significant differences,indicating that the aroma of aromatic plants can reduce the degree of tension,people become relax and happy.According to the results of volatile compounds detection of aromatic plants,a large number of terpene hydrocarbon substances,acids,alcohols,they have a certain bactericidal and anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory effect,also can indirectly promote human health.Aromatic plants as a good landscape of greening materials,its role is very rich.Strengthen the development of aromatic plants,and fully explore its value,according to local conditions,promote the use.According to the results of this experiment,designing some aromatic decompression garden and aromatic garden in the rehabilitation of the landscape has a certain practical significance.
