| Dancing grass(Codadocalyx motorius)is an erect undershrub belonging to the family Leguminosae genus Codariocalyx,which is named for the ability of its lateral lobes to rotate and dance with the changes of temperature,light and sound wave.this paper chooses suitable treatment combination for seed germination by physical and chemical treatment with seeds of Dancing grass seeds of two cultivars.And the suitable dwarf concentration was screened by measuring the changes of morphological and physiological indexes for the purpose of controlling plant type.The mechanisms underlying its leaf dancing were explored from the perspective of morphological anatomy,The results are as follows:1.After mechanical friction of seed coat and different temperature treatment,the germination potential and germination rate of seeds at 25℃ were the highest,and the germination potential and germination rate of the seeds after mechanical friction were significantly higher than that of the untreated seeds.The most obvious effect on promoting seed germination was found in 100 mg/L of gibberellin.Therefore,the best treatment combination of seed germination is:mechanical friction of seed coat + seed soaking by 100mg/L of gibberellin + 25℃ for germination temperature.2.After treatment with paclobutrazol,the plant height,stem diameter,leaf length and leaf width of the two cultivars of dyed grass plants were inhibited,but the leaf thickness was increased,and the conclusion that the preferable concentrations of paclobutrazol for controlling morphological indexes were 250 mg/L and 500 mg/L were obtained.3.Chlorophyll content of the plant was increased after treatment with paclobutrazol,the content of soluble sugar in leaves of two cultivars of Dancing grass was increased first and then decreased,However,the content of soluble protein showed a tendency to decrease,the relative conductivity and malondialdehyde(MDA)content of the two cultivars of dolphins both showed a tendency to increase first and then decrease,with the best effect observed in 500 mg/L of paclobutrazol.The activities of SOD,POD and CAT were all increased after the paclobutrazol treatment,and they presented a tendency to increase first and then decrease with the increase of paclobutrazol concentration.According to enzyme activities after treatment,the activities of the three enzymes at 500 mg/L of paclobutrazol was the highest,So it could be concluded that 500mg/L of paclobutrazol treatment had the best improving effect on antioxidant enzyme activity of the two cultivars.4.Under dancing state,palisade tissue and sponge tissue of Dancing grass was thicken and thin,respectively,the ratio of palisade tissue thickness and spongy tissue thickness under this state was increased compared with that under static state,and the percentage of vascular tissue of petiole transverse section in petiole area was increased. |
