This research aims to study the problem of seedling-age longer and seedling-age's tolerance in the northeastern Sichuan Basin.32 hybrid rice varieties were chosen as the studied materials for field experiment.Three seedling-age levels were set,including normal seedling-age(T1),seedling-age of bigger(T2)and super-long seedling-age(T3).This research in order to study the effects of yield traits to different seedling-age levels of the hybrid rice varieties,and make a preliminary assessment on them.The main results are listed as follows:1.There were variety difference of tiller number on different seedling-age treatments among all the varieties.Under the treatment of T2 respect to T1.The average change rate of tiller number with transplanting after 15 days was-14.53%and the change in the varieties were-25.06%~15.71%.It of highest tiller number was-13.94% and the change in 8 varieties were-28.02%~6.83%.Under the treatment of T3 respect to T1,The average change rate of tiller number with transplanting after 15 days was-7.04% and the change in the varieties were-23.50%~9.75%.It of highest tiller number was-15.11% and the change in 8varieties were-25.60%~6.75%.Under the treatment of T3 respect to T2,The average change rate of tiller number with transplanting after 15 days was 10.06% and the change in 8 varieties were-11.39%~31.76%.It of highest tiller number was-0.68% and the change in the varieties were-12.71%~12.40%.2.There were variety difference of yield traits on different seedling-age treatments among all the varieties.Under the treatment of T2 respect to T1,the average change rate of effective ears per unit area was 3.74% and the change in 32 varieties were-11.70%~16.89%.The average change rate of seed number per ear was 0.38% and the change in 32 varieties were-15.89%~16.51%.The average change rate of grain numbers per ear was-2.68% and the change in 32 varieties were-18.58%~16.36%.The average change rate of seed setting rate was-3.01% and the change in 32 varieties were-9.55%~2.61%.The average change rate of 1000-grain weight was-2.70% and the change in 32 varieties were-7.45%~1.54%.The average change rate of grain weight per ear was-5.41% and the change in 32 varieties were-21.03%~10.68%.Under the treatment of T3 respect to T1,the average change rate of effective ears per unit area was-0.25% and the change in 32 varieties were-14.90%~13.86%.The average change rate of seed number per ear was 1.90% and the change in 32 varietieswere-16.10%~11.32%.The average change rate of grain numbers per ear was-7.48% and the change in 32 varieties were-21.52%~3.92%.The average change rate of seed setting rate was-5.61% and the change in 32 varieties were-12.63%~-0.56%.The average change rate of 1000-grain weight was-4.87% and the change in 32 varieties were-11.67%~-0.47%.The average change rate of grain weight per ear was-12.01% and the change in 32 varieties were-26.75%~0.51%.Under the treatment of T3 respect to T2,the average change rate of effective ears per unit area was-3.64% and the change in 32 varieties were-15.94%~10.67%.The average change rate of seed number per ear was-2.02% and the change in 32 varieties were-12.15%~15.06%.The average change rate of grain numbers per ear was-4.62% and the change in 32 varieties were-14.56%~11.85%.The average change rate of seed setting rate was-2.64% and the change in 32 varieties were-10.28%~4.48%.The average change rate of 1000-grain weight was-2.20% and the change in 32 varieties were-10.34%~2.45%.The average change rate of grain weight per ear was-6.79% and the change in 32 varieties were-16.34%~2.85%.3.There were variety difference of effective yield on different seedling-age treatments among all the varieties.Under the treatment of T2 respect to T1,the average change rate of yield was-2.25% and the change in 32 varieties were-2.28%~9.69%.Under the treatment of T2 respect to T1,the average change rate of yield was-12.49% and the change in 32 varieties were-27.58%~-4.46%.Under the treatment of T2 respect to T1,the average change rate of yield was-10.29% and the change in 32 varieties were-25.66%~-0.62%.4.The change rate of seed number per ear,grain numbers per ear,grain weight per ear,yield and 1000-grain weight were used as screening index of seedling-age's tolerance varieties.There are 4 varieties were selected to suitable seedling-age of bigger,the varieties include Yxiangyou 2114,Nei 5 you 39,Lxiangyou 177 and Chuanyou 727.And there are 13 varieties were selected to seedling-age of bigger that they had higher resistance of the seedling-age,which include Rong 18 you188,Chuanyou8377,Chuanyou 6203,Nei 7 you 39,Deyou 4727,Dexiang4103,Q-you28,Leyou 808,Neixiang 6 you 498,Fuyou 6688,Yixiangyou7808,Guangyou 99 and Longyou 8 hao.And there are 5 varieties,Rong 18 you198,Rong 18 you662,Rong you 918,Leyou 198 and Chuanguyou 399 were selected to super-long seedling-age.
