| The yield and quality of grain have great influence on people’s life.At present,most grain testing experiments remain at the stage of using artificial eye observation.Applying image processing to the grading of grain appearance can greatly improve the efficiency of grain screening.The use of a computer to automatically detect grain appearance is faster,more efficient,and more reusable than the naked eye.In the field of grading of agricultural products,it is worthy of research and development.By processing the image to analyze the parameters of grain appearance and grain grading evaluation,which has high theoretical value and practical significance.We can obtain some characteristic parameters such as grain length,width and pixels in the image,and then judge the grain shape and integrity of grain with these parameters.Moreover,the algorithm of grain appearance analysis in this paper is universal and can be applied to rice,mung bean,brown rice and oat etc...The main contents and innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)A complete system is designed,which is divided into the collection system of grain appearance and the analysis system of grain picture.This system can be used instead of the human eye to achieve the purpose of grading the grain.(2)When testing a batch of Cereals,there may be a superposition of grains,resulting in an error in the statistics of grain parameters.Watershed segmentation algorithm can effectively deal with this situation.The algorithm can cut the grain edges without complicated adhesion and realize the segmentation of grain.But the algorithm also has some shortcomings,such as excessive segmentation;often divide a grain area into two pieces.However,after the improvement of the algorithm,this situation can be avoided effectively. |
