Clinical Study Of The Preanesthetic Preparation?Evaluation And Its Correction Of Canine Inhalation Anesthesia

In recent years,the number of pets has been increasing year by year in China.With the rapid development of pet industry,it required more advanced anesthesia technique in veterinary clinical treatment.The anesthesiologist should ensure that pets operated successfully in safe and comfortable environment,and be active in monitoring,adjusting and controlling the physiological function of pets during anesthesia and operation,which prevent the occurrence of complications and enhancement of indications.Anesthesia technique reduced the mortality rate of patients undergoing complex surgery.Therefore,it requires veterinary surgeon to improve the anesthesia technique.This study evaluate and correct the body condition of the sick animals before anesthesia.Preanesthetic preparation includes preparation of anesthesia equipment,evaluation of animals,correction of body condition and selection of anesthesia scheme.Whether the Preanesthetic preparation is perfect or not directly determines the success of anesthesia and the life of animal.We determine the anesthesia program and the use of drugs through the clinical examination of the physical condition of the animal.In this study,187 cases in Jilin university animal hospital were analyzed.71 cases,accounting for about 37.97% of all,need to correct the abnormal body condition before surgery.21 physiologic cases were not examined preoperatively,accounting for 11.23%.12 cases of traumatic treatment without preoperative examination,accounting for 6.24%.34 cases due to the cost of the owner did not do preoperative testing,accounting for18.18%.The mortality rate was 1.89% after the diagnosis and correction of preanesthesia.The mortality rate of the cases whith out the diagnosis and correction before anesthesia was 6.17%.It is significant to reduce the mortality of animals by the preparation of the preanesthesia and the evaluation of the conditionIn the case of correct body condition,the proportion of leukocyte,acid-base balance disorders,dehydration,anemia is relative high.And Abnormal liver and kidney function,abnormal cardiopulmonary function and abnormal blood coagulation were observed occasionally.Among the 71 cases,there were 37 cases of leukocyte in the case of correct body condition,accounting for 52.11%.There were 34 cases of acid-base disturbance,accounting for 47.89%.The most common phenomenon is metabolic acidosis,accounting for 69% of all acid-base disorders.There were 16 cases of dehydration,accounting for22.54%.There were 19 cases of anemia,accounting for 26.76%.The mortality rate of 106 cases,evaluated and corrected before anesthesia surgery was 1.89%.But the mortality rate of 81 cases not evaluated before anesthesia was 6.17%.Therefore,systematic evaluation and correction before anesthesia is significant for reducing the mortality.In summery,the purpose of the study is to research a program of anesthesia preparation for a large number of sick animals,and provide a reference guide for veterinary workers and animal owners.The program will reduce the risk of death during surgery and promote the development of pet anesthesia technology.
