Three kinds of soil?loamy soil, clay soil and sandy soil?were chosen to conduct the fertilizer test using middle-late mature rice variety Liaoxingl with four nitrogen level,N1?pure N 0g/plate?,N2?pure N2g/plate?,N3?pure N 4g/plate?,N4?pure N 6g/plate?,two Phosphate fertilizer level,P1?P2O5 0.5g/plate?and P2?P2O5 2.5g/plate?,two potash level,Kl?K2O 0.5g/plate?;K2?K2O 3.5g/plate?,to study the influence of different nutrient ratios to the seedling quality and nutrient absorption characteristics of the seedlings by mechanical transplanting. The results indicated that:1.Effects of loam on Seedling Quality and YieldDifferent nutrient ratios in the loamy soil had significant influence to the seedling quality and root system. The plant height, leaf age, base stem width, shoot dry weight, root length, root surface area, root volume, root average diameter, root tip number, root dry weight of the seedlings with the nutrient ratio of the 4:2.5:3.5 ? 6:2.5:3.5 were better than that of the others;Seedling in the N3,N4 level,to ensure high quality seedling quality, the final unit area effective panicle number higher than other treatment, the formation of production,The nutrient absorption characteristics of the sixteen fertilizer treatment indicated that the maximum absorption of pure nitrogen,The maximum of N uptake for seedling was less 3.49 mg per plate in other treatments.phosphorus and Potassium were 4.32,0.95 and 2.97gram per plate,The ratio of N,P and K?4:2.5:3.5?would be enough to meet the nutrient demand for seedlings.lt is recommended that the nutrient ratio of the 4:2.5:3.5was the best in the field production.2.Effects of clay on Seedling Quality and YieldDifferent nutrient ratios in the clay soil had significant influence to the seedling quality and root system. The plant height, leaf age, base stem width, shoot dry weight, root length, root surface area, root volume, root average diameter, root tip number, root dry weight of the seedlings with the nutrient ratio of the 4:2.5:3.5 were better than that of the others;Seeding at N3 levels, the productive panicle number per unit area was higher than that of other treatments, and the yield was significantly higher than that of high N and N level. This was consistent with the water retention and fertilization of the clayey soil. The nutrient absorption characteristics of the sixteen fertilizer treatment indicated that the maximum absorption of pure nitrogen, phosphorus and Potassium were 4.28,1.18and 4.33 gram per plate,It is recommended that the nutrient ratio of the 4:2.5:3.5was the best in the field production.3.Effects of sandy on Seedling Quality and YieldDifferent nutrient ratios in the sandy soil had significant influence to the seedling quality and root system. The plant height, leaf age, base stem width, shoot dry weight, root length, root surface area, root volume, root average diameter, root tip number, root dry weight of the seedlings with the nutrient ratio of the 4:2.5:3.5 were better than that of the others;Seedling in the N4 level,to protect the quality of the quality of the seedlings, the final unit area effective panicle number higher than other treatment, the formation of production. The nutrient absorption characteristics of the sixteen fertilizer treatment indicated that the maximum absorption of pure nitrogen, phosphorus and Potassium were 4.28,1.11and 3.6 gram per plate. It is recommended that the nutrient ratio of the 4:2.5:3.5was the best in the field production.4.The effect on seedling by different soil propertiesThe results showed that the assessment of plant growth parameters were better in clay soil than those in loam and sandy soils. The parameters include plant height, age of leaves, width of stem basis,above-ground dry matter biomass, root length, root surface area, root volume, average root diameter, root tips and below-ground dry matter weight. It indicated that the clay soil was better for seedling growth. As an conclusion, present study showed that it would be better for transplanting by machine when cultivate the seedling in the substances of the proportion of N,P,and K?4:2.5:3.5?.
