In recent years,with the agricultural industry structure adjustment,large-scale planting industrial chain which was based on cooperative is formed.Correspondingly,the development of agricultural mechanization also ushered in a golden opportunity.As an important agricultural plant protection machinery,high clearance boom sprayer plays an important role in the chemical prevention of crop diseases and insect pests and weeds,especially has a significant effect to solve the problems of spraying difficult and poor control effect in the middle or late stage of high stalk crops.However,due to technical limitations,the domestic high clearance boom sprayers have some problems,such as,simple of mechanical structure design,low efficiency of pesticide and low level of intelligence.According to the reality that the intelligent level of the domestic high clearance boom sprayer is too low,this paper designed intelligent control systems of high clearance boom sprayer based on the summary of research and development status of the domestic and foreign high clearance boom sprayers.Including the following three aspects:(1)Steering mode control system.On the basis of Mitsubishi PLC,the steering mode switching control system can achieve that the steering mode of high clearance boom sprayer switches flexible and reliable in three ways of front-wheel deflection steering,all-wheel deflection steering and crab-line deflection steering.At the same time,steering system adopts hydraulic power steering to reduce the driver's physical exertion and improve the sensitivity of high clearance boom sprayer in the steering operation process.(2)Intelligent control system of spray boom's balance.In order to ensure the safety of spray boom and the application effect and avoid spray boom scratching crops in the spraying process,spray boom and plant canopy need to maintain approximately parallel.The intelligent control system of spray boom balance based on tilt sensor was designed.The controller regulates the hydraulic cylinders by handling the actual spray boom angle which was detected by the tilt sensor,which effectively ensures the safety of spray boom and application effect.The software and hardware design of the intelligent system were elaborated,and the sprayer parameters monitoring function that can send alarm signal when the sprayer occur fault was elaborated too.(3)Variable spraying control system.In order to improve the spraying uniformity,a variable spraying control system was designed,which adjusts the application pressure of the pressure regulator by calculating the actual speed of sprayer and comparing the set dosage per unit area.In this paper,the hardware and structure design of the variable spraying control system were elaborated.The final test shows that the system reduced the variation coefficient of dosage in different region,and effectively improved the spraying uniformity.
