Cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.),cucurbitaceae cucumber plant,is not only a world-wide important vegetable crops, but also one of the main vegetable crops in China's facilities cultivation with a wide planting area.Cucumber is prone to physiological diseases due to its lighter and fragileroot distribution, poorer adaptability to salted environment which affects its growth, quality and yield seriously.Fulvic acid(fulvic acid,FA)is a water-soluble grayish black powder material.Plenty of experimental results demonstrated that FA can promote plant growth, improve plant resistance to stress, increase production and improve the quality. In this experiment, the effects of different doses of fulvic acid on the growth, quality and yield of cucumber grown in brackish water irrigation and freshwater irrigation were studied, aiming to determine the optimum concentration of fulvic acid in the nutrient solution of cucumber cultivated in salted environment and normal environment. The main results are as follows:Under brackish water irrigation conditions(1)The optimum concentration of fulvic acid in the early growth stage of cucumber plants was100mg/L and 800 mg / L in the later stage.(2)The total acidity of cucumber fruit was significantly reduced and the soluble sugar content was significantly increasedby100mg/Lof fulvic;Vc content of cucumber fruit was significantly increased by 50mg/Lof fulvic.(3)100mg/Lof fulvic had the highest yield and cucumber fruits number.Under freshwater irrigation conditions(1)In the vegetative growth stage of cucumber, the impact of different doses of fulvic acidadded in nutrient solution on the growth of cucumber plants was not significant.(2)Nitrate content between 50mg/L~1600mg/L of fulvic treatment and CK was significantly different, nitrate concentration in the 50mg/Lof fulvicwas the lowest;50mg/Lof fulvicalso significantly increased cucumber fruit soluble sugar and vitamin C content and reduced the total acidity of the fruit.(3)200 mg/Lhof fulvictreatment had the highest average fruit weight and total yield.
