In order to understand the regional characteristic of climatic resources for Xiangxi tobacco-growing areas, the regional climatic difference among different counties and between Xiangxi and main domestic and overseas tobacco growing areas, climatic similarity analysis on Xiangxi and main domestic and overseas tobacco growing areas, comprehensive evaluation on Xiangxi main tobacco-planting counties were analyzed by adopted climatic factors of air temperature, sunshine duration, amount of rainfall, relative humidity and EAT during field periods of flue-cured tobacco. The results were as follows:(1) The mean temperature was more than 20? in Xiangxi during the field growing period, and rainfall was more than 700h, and sunshine duration was more than 700h. Xiangxi tobacco-planting areas had general advantage to plant high quality tobacco.(2)Comparing with domestic and overseas tobacco growing areas, aveage temperature was relatively higher in Xiangxi during the tobacco field period, rainfall was relatively more in early stages and relatively less in later stages, sunshine duration was suitable and relative humidity was higher.(3)The climate similarity was highest between Xiangxi and Zenyi city, and was secondly in Chenzhou city,was thirdly in Brazil.(4) The climate feasibility indexes of flue-cured tobacco in Xiangxi is with mean amplitude of 77.60?93.79 in different counties. The climate feasibility indexes of Huayuan county was the highest,nxet is Yongshun county, once again is Fenghuang county.The temperature, rainfall and sunlight in Xiangxi with the growth of high quality tobacco were matching and coordination, and that suitable to plant the high quality flue-cured tobacco.
