Comprehensive Evaluation Of Flue-Cured Tobacco Quality In Hunan Tobacco-Growing Areas And Difference Analysis With The Domestic Tobacco

On the basis of Guiyang tobacco samples (B2F, C3F, X2F,) in Hunan tobacco-growing areas, the physical properties, chemical components, the anatomic structural observation , sensory quality and neutral aroma matters of flue-cured tobacco were analyzed; Hunan and domestic (Yunnan, Henan and Guizhou) high quality flue-cured tobacco were comparatively analyzed. Main results were asfollows:1. With the rising of leaf maturity, the thickness of leaf, palisade tissue,spongy tissue ,the upper-eplsperm and lower-eplsperm presented decreasing tendency, thickness ratio of palisade and spongy of Yunyan 87 firstly increased, and then decreased slowly,but thickness ratio of palisade and spongy of others increased all along during the maturing process.2. The flue-cured tobacco from Hunan had many problems, as that weight per unit leaf area was lower, stem ratio were higher ,but thickness of leaf and tensile strength are suitable. The flue-cured tobacco of B2F from Hunan , its equilibrium moisture content and thickness of leaf had significant difference with Henan , its weight per unit leaf area had significant difference with Guizhou , its tensile strength had significant difference with Yunnan , its stem ratio had no significant difference with other three provinces.The flue-cured tobacco of C3F from Hunan , its equilibrium moisture content had significant difference with Henan ; but its stem ratio were higher and thickness of leaf had no significant difference with other three provinces ; its weight per unit leaf area had significant difference with other three provinces ; its tensile strength had significant difference with Guizhou .The flue-cured tobacco of X2F from Hunan , its weight per unit leaf area and equilibrium moisture content had significant difference with other three provinces ; but its stem ratio had no significant difference with other three provinces ; its tensile strength had significant difference with Yunnan ; itsthickness of leaf had significant difference with Guizhou .3.The flue-cured tobacco of B2F from Hunan , its Cu, Mn, Ca and Zn are suitable ; The flue-cured tobacco of C3F from Hunan , its Cu, Mn, Ca, Zn and K are suitable ; The flue-cured tobacco of X2F from Hunan , its Mn, Ca, Zn and K are suitable .4.The flue-cured tobacco of Hunan have suitable total alkaloids, total nitrogen, potassium, chlorine, the ratio of total nitrogen to nicotine and K2O/Cl. total sugar,reducing sugar and the ratio of total sugar to nicotine are higher. By dependent-samples T Test , the flue-cured tobacco of B2F from Hunan , its total alkaloids , the ratio of total nitrogen to nicotine, the ratio of total sugar to nicotine and K2O/Cl had significant difference with Henan , its potassium , K2O/Cl,reducing sugar , the ratio of total sugar to nicotineand total sugar had significant difference with Yunnan , its chlorine, the ratio of total sugar to nicotine and K2O/Cl had significant difference with Guizhou. The flue-cured tobacco of C3F from Hunan , its total nitrogen , potassium ,total sugar , reducing sugar and total alkaloids had significant difference with Henan , its potassium,total nitrogen, K2O/Cl, the ratio of total nitrogen to nicotine had significant difference with Yunyan, its chlorine,total alkaloids, total nitrogen , reducing sugar , total sugar had significant difference with Guizhou. The flue-cured tobacco of X2F from Hunan , its potassium had significant difference with Henan , its chlorine had significant difference with Guizhou , it had no significant difference with Yunnan.5. The content of aroma is Yunnan〉Hunnan〉Henan〉Guizhou。The degradation content of plastid pigments isHunnan〉Yunnan〉Henan〉Guizhou; The degradation content of aroma aminophenol is Hunnan〉Henan〉Guizhou〉Yunnan; The degradation content of cembranoids is Yunnan〉Hunan〉Guizhou〉Henan; The content of browning reactions is Yunnan〉Hunnan〉Guizhou〉Henan; The content of other flavour components Yunnan〉Hunnan〉Henan〉Guizhou.6.The smoking quality of flue-cured tobacco in Hunan,henna,Yunnan and Guizhou are analyzed by using factor analysis. Four main factors are selected, namely, factor of irritation/taste, factor of density, factor of aroma quantity, factor of impact. There are 3 samples of Hunan in top 5 according with factor scores. They are Shicheng Yunyan87 B2F, X2F and Qiaoshi Yunyan87 C3F. The feature of Hunan flue-cured tobacco are that the taste concentration is suitable and offensive taste is light.
