In this study, the primary goal of three supporting systems is to select the adaptable and stable strain from different animal sources, we relatively analyzed the growth performances between two hybridized combinations of Barred feather chicken which are decision by feather color and analyzed the breeding progress of the pure line.This study mainly includes two parts, one is the characteristic comparisons of breeding progress (hatchability. reproductive and growth performance) of all generations in the LH (Barred feather chicken), HS1, HS2. BH01; Another is mainly for including four hybrid combinations of HL1. HL2, BHL1, BHL2. by comparing the growth and production performance of two Barred feather chicken combinations. HL1 and HL2 are two hybrid combinations BHL1 and BHL2 are breeding by three supporting systems, first the two-line hybrid was conducted by material of LH and paternal of HS1 and HS2. we named the two-line hybrid((?) ×(?). HS1× LH. HS2 x LH) as HL1 and HL2. then its material offsprings were used to establish BHL1 and BHL2 (BHL1 and BHL2 represent BH x HL1 and BH x HL2, respectively) by hybriding with the paterinal of BH01. This study focused on the performances by comparing the appearance, growth, slaughter and reproductive and egg quality among HL1 and HL2 or BHL1 and BHL2 to determine the best combination.The main results are shown as following:1. The results of pure line breeding progress:the body type of LH is moderate, after two generations of breeding and selection, the first-egg age is 160 days; on 300 days, the egg production is 91.1 and the average egg weight is 60.2g; in addition, they carried the barred factor. In summary, all those of characteristic of LH are fit for female parents. Whereas, the HS1 and HS2 are suitable for first male parents because of their performance, specifically, their body type is moderate, both of their first-egg age are about 145 days, the egg amount reached to 100.7 and 101.4. on the age of 300 days, and the rate of growth is rapidly enough (1378.7g,1319.3g on 13 wks). We choose the BH01 as the terminal male parent which is finished by 4 generation breeding and selection, their first-egg age is 168 days,91.8 eggs were laid on 300days. and the body weight reached to 1334.8g on 13 wks.2. The production performances of two-line hybrid:The color of feather and shank were segregated in HL1 and HL2. mainly were hemp feather flight shank (respectively 0.8% and 4.8%). hemp feather dark shank (63.9% and 77.4%. respectively) and black feather dark shank (35.2% and 17.7%. respectively). The correct rate was 100% when identifying the sex of the two two-line hybrid broiler by feather. In addtion. the hatchability was 78.14%, adult livability was more than 93.8% and 13wk weight was 1429.5g of HL1 were significantly better than HL2 (P< 0.05). The feed consumption of HL2 in 0-20 wks and 21-43 wks were 8.2kg and 16.6kg, respectively. HL2 was better than HL1. There was significant difference between HL1 and HL2 in the age of first egg. number of eggs is 119.4 on 300 days (P< 0.05). On the other hand. HL2 had a higher number than HL1 in the height of albumen, Haugh Unite, and yolk color(P< 0.05), The slaughtering weight of HL2 was 1.85 kg and skin fat thickness of was 0.96 cm. In addition, the HL2 was better than HL1 in the slaughter performances (P< 0.05). In a word, the production performances of HL2 were better than that of HL1 over all.3. The production performances of female offspring from three-line hybrid: two three-line hybrid offspring were classified three classes based on the characteiistics of feathers and shank, in the order of amount numbei, were flight feather dark shank, flight feather dark shank and flight feather flight shank. The female offspring of BHL1 was 82.4%. is better than BHL2 on hatchability. the adult livability of BHL2 in 21-43 wks was 98.1%. but BHL1 with lower adult livability. there was no significant difference in body weight and feed consumption. The variation of egg producing ability was significant between BHL1 and BHL2, BHL2 was better than BHL1 (P<0.05). The first egg age and egg number on 300 days of BHL2 are 176d and 94.3. Instead, the height of albumen of BHL1 was better than BHL2 in egg quality. Besides. BHL2 showed better slaughter performances than BHL1. the gizzard weight and abdominal weight of BHL2 were higher than BHL1 (P<0.05). The production performances of BHL2 were better than that of BHL1 over all.4. The production performances of male offspring from three-line hybrid: at first, no significant differences were found in the male offsprings'body weight between BHL1 and BHL2. The adult livability of BHL1 in 7-17 wks was 98.21%. that was better than BHL2, but the conclusion reversed in slaughter performance, the pectoral muscle weight and its rate of BHL2 were 173.2 g and 18.65%. respectively. It was better than BHL1. There were no significant differences when comparing the content of Shear Force and Inosinic Acid (P>0.05). Except for the crude water was 74.8% and fat was 13.3% of BHL2 were better than BHL1. all other indexes about meat quality showed no obviously different in leg muscle. When comparing the quality of muscle (leg and breast), the content of inosinic acid was 63.87% of BHL2. which was significantly higher than BHL1 (P?0.05). The content of essential amino acid by leg muscle of BHL2 was 36.09%. That was significantly higher than BHL1. This study demonstrated that the production performances of BHL2 were better than BHL1 comprehensively.In conclusion, the appearances of hybrid met the local preference; two-line hybrid can take advantage of decision by feather color. The BHL2 female offspring showed higher reproductive and egg quality than BHL1, in addition, the BHL2 male offspring were also better in production performances, carcass traits and meat quality than BHL1.
