Tomato as one of the main cultivated vegetable in production facilities, favored by the vast number of consumers. In recent years, with the state and government support and attention, especially in protected vegetable production in agriculture, planting area is expanding. As its strong ability of tomato lateral branch, people generally use the way of alone pruning to improve the quality in the traditional cultivation management to increase the fruit set. Appropriate increase in nitrogen fertilizer can promote the growth of tomato, but the high concentration will inhibit its growth. This experiment study on tomato growth in different nitrogen concentration and different pruning methods in the early stage, in order to provide effective management measures. Results are as follows:(1 Statistical analysis the different nitrogen concentrations and different pruning methods. The number of node N15 was significantly higher than others, which is 1.244 higher than N5. The node of three stem is 0.755 higher than alone. The three node biomass accumulation 30.829 g was significantly respectively higher than the others 1.731g?7.541 g. The biomass of N15 was respectively higher than the others 50.64%,35.96%,20.2%, 15.12%,11.06%. Planting tomato at the concentration of N15 and by three stem pruning is the best combination.(2)Constructing the tomato functional-structural model under different test conditions: growth period as step size, section (node) as a structural unit to establish tomato topology model. Use the sink and the expansion rate to make the weight. Based on plant allometric growth law establishing tomato organ geometric structure.(3)Parameter calibration:to analysis the relationship of accumulated temperature and tomato branch, to obtain parameters of topological structure model; to analysis area and volume changes of different organs with the growth cycle, obtain the extension rate parameters of organ; reverse parameter to obtain organ's sink in different treatments.(4)Verify the model:fitting the test data to validate the model, it is found that the simulated values and measured values are in good agreement, the model is greatly capable of describing growth process of tomato in different nitrogen concentration and training mode.
