Buckwheat is rich in flavonoids and protein with high nutritional and medicinal value.Lodging is one of the important factors restricting the buckwheat production,on the buckwheat lodging is very rare in the domestic and foreign research.In this study,we explored the biological characteristics of buckwheat from three aspects:morphology,anatomy and biochemistry,providing a reference for lodging buckwheat cultivar selection.In the 44 different varieties of buckwheat as material,through field investigation statistics,buckwheat lodging mainly occurs in the mature period,and lodging in basal internodes 2.There are some differences in morphological characteristics of different varieties of buckwheat lodging.Correlation analysis results show that plant height(r = 0.333,p<0.05)and mean internode length(r = 0.654,p<0.05)were significant positive correlation with the lodging rate,and the basal internodes 2 place of stem plumpness(r=0.867,p<0.01),stem diameter(r=0.464,p<0.464),stem thickness(r=0.844,p<0.01)were significantly negative phase,and root fresh ratio(r=0.687,p<0.01),the number of main stem branch(r= 0.318,p<0.318),the number of main stem internodes(r=0.607,p<0.01)were significantly negative correlation,and preliminary selection of 5 varieties of lodging.For three high lodging and three severe lodging conducted organizational structure and lignin content analysis.The results show that buckwheat lodging capacity is closely related with the base of the second internode anatomy and lignin content.Cortical tissue thickness of lodging varieties,small vascular bundle area,large vascular bundle area,a small number of vascular bundles,the average number of large vascular bundles of phloem tissue thickness is greater than the serious lodging varieties.Phloem tissue(r =-0.939,P<0.01),large vascular bundles area(r =-0.946,p<0.01),cortical tissue thickness(r =-0.946,p<0.05)and a small number of vascular bundles(r =-0.850,p<0.05)and lodging rate was significantly negatively correlated,small vascular bundle area,large number of vascular bundles and lodging was no significant correlation phase Lignin content with the upward trend in the growth,and in the same period,the lignin content lodging varieties generally higher than serious lodging varieties.To sum up,the lodging capacity and its stem characteristics of buckwheat are closely related.Lodging rate as an important indicator of the size of the stem lodging resistance.Small plant,average internodes short,large weight ratio of root,more main stem internodes,main stem branch number of buckwheat varieties of the lodging resistance capability is strong;The base of the second internode internode thick,stem thickness,large number of high plumpness,small vascular stem,large vascular bundle area,cortex thickness,phloem tissue thickness,high lignin content of buckwheat varieties have a strong lodging resistance.
