The Study On Layer Industry Biosecurity Management System

The scale of China’s annual layer breeding can reach 1.5 billion and the production of egg is about 24 million tons,layer industry scale ranks first in the world.Layer breeding is mainly small and medium-scale,however,there still exist some problems,such as the poor level feeding and management,the difficulty of disease prevention and control,the polluted surroundings,which have became a serious impediment to the healthy development of the layer breeding industry.As an internationally recognized means of effective prevention and control of animal diseases,The biosecurity management system has demonstrated in many countries and achieved good results.Nowadays,there was no a complete biosecurity management system about layer breeding.To provide the basis for further regulate the construction of egg farms,we carried on the study about the various factors influencing biosecurity system of scale layer farm and the establishment of layer breeding biosecurity management system.The questionnaire was designed by consulting information and field visits,throught Pre-survey revise,the 216 scale layer farms with breeding stock more than20,000 in Henan province were conducted a questionnaire survey about biosecurity status quo to master biosecurity management system construction and operation.To determine biosecurity management practical experience,field visits were implemented in provincial,municipal and county animal disease prevention and control institutions,primary,secondary and tertiary animal disease monitoring monitoring networks.Combining with the results of questionnaires and field visits,in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standards and national laws and regulations,and the basis of extensive consultation with universities,research institutes and other experts opinion on,determined the key nodes of scale layer farms biosecurity.As a skeleton drafted layer breeding biosecurity management system,selected the part of farms as demonstration verification and revised draft,eventually established the layer breeding biosecurity management system.According to the results of the research project,drafted the "scale layer farm biosecurity technical specifications",university professors,experts in disease prevention and control,people in charge of technology of leading layer companies atotal of 12 were invited to assess the draft.selected the part of 2015,Henan province animal disease purification declaring enterprises as demonstration verification,developed the "scale layer farm biosecurity technical specifications".The specification is adopted and issued by Animal Husbandry Bureau of Henan Province on december31,2015.Biosafety technology practice was implemented in scale layer farms around the whole province.The establish of system can be regarded as guidelines for the scale layer farm biosecurity construction,provided technical standards and the theoretical basis for layer breeding enterprises to further establish and improve biosecurity system,pointed out the direction for layer breeding enterprises to the further strengthening integrated disease prevention control.provided a guarantee for quality and safety and public health safety of egg production.played a positive role in promoting the rapid and healthy development of China’s layer industry.
