Northern of Tianshan mountain in xinjiang as the research district, combined with information of soil profile survey and indoor analysis, Compared soil SOM,TN and TP of chestnut soil, gray desert soil, meadow soils and Fluvo-aquic in 1980 and in 2014 two periods. Analysis of nutrient variation and vertical distribution characteristics of soil profiles, which can provide basis data for the regional management of soil quality and evaluation. Results suggesting as follows :1) In 1980 and 2014 two periods, SOM, TN and TP were different changed:SOM increased by 32.13%, added to 4.44g/kg, the difference is significance; TN added 0.47g/kg, increase by 58.75%, reached to significance; TP growth was slowly, the difference was not significant.2) Two period 0~100 cm soil profiles of each layer of SOM, TN and TP with depth gradually increased; overall changed increasing largerly in TN;TP increasing overall smaller. Different types of soil 0-100 cm SOM, TN, TP content change is consistent: it is with the depth of content gradually decreased.3) Compared the two periods, only in gray desert soil of organic matter(SOM) content, reached to difference significant level, other three great groups of soil organic matter changed were not significantly; TN of four great groups soil were all increased, gray desert soil of annual growth rate is the largest, reached for 3.32%, two periods of gray desert soil and tide soil, there is significant difference in the content, chestnut soil and meadow soil in two period there was no significant difference; TP content of four types did not reach significant level.4) According to the classification standards of soil nutrients, comprehensive analysis of soil organic matter(SOM), total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphoruss(TP) content in the 0~100cm depth, According to the principle of minimum rate of nutrient, four types of soil in 1980 and 2014 are level 5.SOM in 1980 is level 4~5, SOM in 2014 is level 4; TN from 4~5 rasied to 2~3 level; TP is level 5 in two period.
