In east Dongting lake area, treat 2a,7a, lla,and 18a man-made forest in two defferent habitats of which hills and the Yangtze river tidal flats of Populus deltoides as the research object,datas from 40 sample plots, meanwhile, combined with measured on standard woods, had survey and analysis about Populus deltoides on components, total strain, total forest biomass and carbon storage and its’ correlation, then had established the mathematical model and fit the formula of indiviual and components of plant. To provide the reference data and theoretical basis for choice of gardens, reproductive intermidiate, stand management of Populus deltoides in the future.The main conclusions of this study are shown as follows:In east Dongting Lake area, Populus deltoides in mountains and Yangtze River beach both have the following features:the first two years after planting grow slow, 2-7 years into the fast-growing period, around 11 years approaching maturity, and this was the best timber use period. Density, plant average diameter, and average height value of shoal plantation are all higher than the mountain deltoides plantation. In the East Dongting Lake, beach is more suitable than the mountain for deltoides to grow.The stand biomass and carbon storage of Populus deltoides all shows monotonous increase in different habitats with age. However, the increase of different age and habitats is not all equal, the half-mature forest is fastest, the Populus deltoides artificial forest in tidal flat grows faster than the artificial forest in mountain regions, the growth rate of different components is inconsistent, the tree trunk is fastest,and the bark is slowest. The growth change of underground biomass is the axial root> the thick root> the fibrous root.Populus deltoides and its’ man-made forest have the same variation trend and biomass of total carbon storage of forest. Through determination, we found that total carbon storage man-made forest of per Populus deltoides hold with half of the biomass. The results also proved this argument that the relationship coefficient between biomass and carbon storage is close to 0.5,but different components’ relationship coefficient of biomass and carbon storage is not all close to 0.5, such as the carbon containing rate of leaves is lower just at 0.32, while the carbon containing rate of leaves is 0.53. |
