Vehicles travelling in a high speed are often affected by lateral wind and the possibility of lateral sway and overthrow will increase greatly consequently. The critical wind will seriously affect steering stability and driving safety of the vehicle especially when driving direction is perpendicular to the main wind,which will be a significant threat to road traffic safety.For the moment, the research about windproof facilities along the highway focuses on wind fence. Practical operations show that shelterbelt along the highway can reduce the regional wind speed to a large extent, and play a role to ensure the highway traffic safety. Therefore, through the study about settings form of the shelterbelt along the highway of traffic safety effect, it has great realistic significance to create a safe highway traffic environment. In this paper, the main contents and results are as follows:1. Through analyzing the two limits state of roll and sideway, vehicle stability evaluation index is put forward to build vehicle driving safety system under the condition of the coupling among the wind, vehicle and road.2. And by using the numerical simulation methods in porous media and FLUENT software, the wind field in a certain space around the shelterbelt is simulated. It respectively carries on the numerical simulation research on the parameter such as porosity, height and width of shelterbelt, and the in-depth analysis of the windproof effect of the shelterbelt along the highway.3. Then the traffic safety effect from the shelterbelt is analyzed, considering structure parameters and road characteristic parameters in highway safety assessment model.4. Further, it proposes the design method of shelterbelt along highway based on traffic safety. And the planning and design of shelterbelt in the lateral critical wind space is made scientifically, under the premise of fully ensuring the traffic safety.The examples given in this thesis are based on partial Shantou-Zhanjiang Highway from the Shantou to Jiexi, which located in the bay at violent-wind section. Taking full account of vehicle driving safety, the windbreak design scheme is proposed from the analysis of the figure design of the road flat-portrait line, the design of road surface and the traffic composition. |
