Abstract/Summary:
Arbitrary waveform generator is a kind of signal source that has developed rapidly in recent years.Due to its flexible waveform signal generation method,it is widely used in the field of electronic testing and simulation.With the constant advancement of electronic science and technology,the demand for signal sources in the high-tech industry is also becoming higher and higher,mainly reflecting the complexity and diversity of waveform signal requirements.How to design a set of extensibility and migration a good waveform synthesis architecture scheme has become a major difficulty in the research of arbitrary waveform generators.This paper analyzes the waveform synthesis scheme based on the register architecture.The main disadvantage of the scheme is that the structure design of the sequence wave address generator is too coupled,and the logic operation is too complex,which is not conducive to the efficient generation of complex waveforms such as sequence waves,resulting in scalability of the scheme.And poor portability,difficult to apply to complex waveform functions.Aiming at this shortcoming of register-based architecture,this paper proposes a waveform synthesis program based on instruction architecture.It is applied to the “4GSPS Arbitrary Waveform Generator” in the teaching and research room project.The main tasks are as follows:(1)Waveform synthesis scheme design based on instruction architecture,this paper applies the special instruction set processor technology in waveform synthesis,and proposes a waveform synthesis scheme based on instruction architecture.This paper addresses the disadvantages of the over-coupling of the sequence address generator design in the waveform synthesizing method based on the register structure.It proposes to use the waveform synthesis dedicated instruction set processor to replace the sequence address generator and use the jump instruction to realize the output of the repetitive waveform to complete the arbitrary waveform synthesis.The decoupling of waveform synthesis control commands and waveform data read control commands reduces hardware design complexity.(2)Instruction-based waveform synthesis scheme-driven design.In the drive design,we will use the neat architecture application and waveform synthesis to achieve a hierarchical design of the drive design.It makes the entire driver architecture with strong scalability,portability and stability.(3)In the waveform synthesis software design of the drive design,arbitrary waves,sequence waves,and enhanced sequence waves are abstracted into classes.For waveform synthesis actions,different waveform objects can perform polymorphic responses and solve different types.Waveform waveforms combine interface coupling problems caused by different specific actions,which improves the cohesion of program design and reduces coupling.
