The cable-stayed bridge has become a very competitive bridge type due to its unique structure and excellent performance, coupled with its good ability to cross over.As the instability of bridges occurs from time to time, the stability of cable-stayed bridges is also receiving much attention. In recent years, with the development of society, more and more multi-pylon cable-stayed bridges have emerged. In the multi-pylon cable-stayed bridge, due to the increase in the number of towers, the displacement at the top of the tower is not easy to control,so that the cable-stayed bridge, which is already a flexible structure, becomes more flexible and the possibility of instability increases. Therefore,it is necessary to have multiple towers.Cable-stayed bridge for stability study.Based on the multi-pylon cable-stayed bridge under construction, uses ANSYS finite element software to establish the full-bridge model, and calculates the elasticity, geometrical nonlinearity and dual nonlinear stability safety coefficient of the structure in each phase of the construction process.Based on the results, the global stability of the bridge was evaluated. In addition, the influence of these parameter changes on the second-type stability of the structure is analyzed by changing the parameters of the components(structure stiffness, auxiliary piers, structural systems, etc.),And separately discussed the stability of the tower. The results can provide reference for similar bridge design and stability calculation.
