Low-pylon cable-stayed bridge is also named partial cable-stayed bridge, which is a novel style bridge between box-girder bridge and cable-stayed bridge. Because of its advantageous structural function and favorable economical index, more and more developmental potential of the Low-pylon cable-stayed bridge is showing. On the basis of the collection, summarize and analysis of this kind of bridge's design datas in the world, according to the cable-stayed bridge's design theory, global design and design parameters of this kind of big spans PC Low-pylon cable-stayed bridge are analyzed in detail.In the first, the development and study of the style bridge is presented. Combined with the design and construction dates of this kind of bridge all over the world, Low-pylon cable-stayed bridge's main contents include of global arrange, structural characteristic, stressed property and its apply foreground in bridge engineering are discussed roundly.In the second, combined with the background engineering, this kind of big spans Low-pylon cable-stayed bridge's parameters affecting to structural internal force and distortion are analysed emphatically by using the big general finite element method software which is named Midas/Civil.
