Rail trains mainly include light rail,subway,locomotive,motor train unit,etc.With the rapid development of economy and urbanization in our country,with its peculiar advantage of punctuality,efficient,energy-efficient,environmental protection which others don’t have,the rail trains have had a rapid development in recent years.Rail trains traveling through cities,have provided a better solution for every Chinese people.Power supply systems of rail train mainly include traction power supply system and auxiliary power supply system.Auxiliary power supply system can provide electricity of AC380 V and DC110V/24 V which can be used by many systems like braking systems,network control systems,door systems,lighting systems,PIS.This system can provide an important guarantee for the safe running of the train.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a convenient and fast experimental method to strengthen the research on the auxiliary power system of rail train.By the analysis of auxiliary power supply system of locomotive and motor train unit from parts to whole step by step,we built a mathematical model by Matlab.We have finished building the simulation model of preliminary charging circuit,DC-loop circuit,inverter circuit,LC filter circuit,charger.We can do a real-time simulator by using HiGale simulator.Then we can get three-phase AC and charging / discharging waveform of auxiliary power supply system to check the simulation results.Finally,we have checked the feasibility of this experimental platform to build a quality platform for optimal design of auxiliary power supply system and charger by doing some experiment on the real-time simulator.
