The Research On The Traditional Settlement Protection Of Shanxi Province Based On The Memory Recognition System Of Historical And Cultural Landscape

Before China's reform and opening up,both historical and cultural cities and traditional villages form unique cultural inheritance systems and ecological cycles,according to their historical culture and geomorphic conditions.However,with the accelerated pace of reform and opening up,these phenomena,such as Urbanization,Mass Construction and Landscape Homogenization,have caused the loss of cultural traditions and the loss of local homesickness,which has been an impact on the survival and development of traditional settlements.Therefore,protection of traditional settlements is imperative.Protecting traditional settlements need to establish a new idea to Renovation and Recovery,rather than just to protect the evidence,such as vestiges and cultural relics,which are the proof of existence and what happened in the past.Renovation and Recovery means to link the present with the past or the present with the future.That's to say,allow the user of the moment to talk to the past,and then passing on to "future" what they get from the historical culture.In this way,civilizations of the culture and place spirit of traditional settlements are extended,with the prerequisite of regional cultural authenticity.Our research team has been committed to establishing and improving the Memory Recognition System of Historical and Cultural Landscape to explore ways to protect historical and cultural heritage.Landscape Memory" is regarded as a subjective understanding of living environment.It is tried to get the first perception of the historical and cultural landscape elements,the multi-level cultural landscape elements including material and nonphysical,tangible and intangible and memory and reality from the point of view of a man.The first part of the thesis including chapters 1 and 2,shows the topic origin,the research question and the purpose,the research method and the framework firstly.Then,it's teased out the concept of "cultural landscape" and the protection process of historical and cultural heritage through the methods summarize literatures.It's also summarized the theoretical results of the protection of historical and cultural heritage in different directions.Finally,this paper expounds the concept of Historical and Cultural Landscape Memory Recognition System" and its research angle and core research contents,based on the previous literature review.The second part is the chapter 3.Selecting three typical cases of Shanxi traditional settlement,conduct investigation and research on the current situation and memory about historical and cultural landscape.And then summarize the results.The last part of the thesis including chapters 4 and 5 proposes the strategy,principles and contents of Shanxi traditional settlement protection,according to the research framework and the survey results obtained above.And apply it to specific practice projects.
