The Concrete mixer truck reducer is the key component of the concrete mixer truck,which is driven by the quantitative hydraulic motor and transmitted smoothly the power to the stirring drum through the planetary gear transmission of the reducer.The output flange of the reducer is rigidly connected with the stirring cylinder,which is mounted on the chassis support at a certain tilt angle,and bears strong self weight load and impact load from the full load stirring drum.In the meantime,the requirment of tilting deflection,which normally is caused by installation error,dynamic loads,structual deformation,etc,must be fulfilled.The research work of this paper is based upon a reducer of 18 m~3concrete mixer truck.The structual reasonableness and stress condition of the structure have been analysed on account of 3D geometry,classic mechnics theory and experienced computational approaches.Furthermore,the specific design method upon this particular kind of reducer has been presented.First of all,the mechanical structure and transmissional principle of this reducer is introduced,static and dynamic analysis on stirring drum,driving torque characteristic analysis,and dynamic characteristic analysis on hydraulic motor have been completed in order to determine the loading condition,working loads,loading spectrum and structual demands.The analysis work is carried out based on critical parameters of 18 m~3concrete mixer truck reducer,the concept design of this reducer is finalized through the comparision of several varied design plans including different gear sizing and flexible output mechanisms.Using CATIA Three-dimensional modeling,professional kisssoft gear transmission software,Ansys finite element analysis software for strength calculation,finally obtained the detailed design of 18 m~3concrete mixer truck reducer.In this paper,the purpose and test scheme of the design test for the reducer of concrete mixer truck are analyzed,and the test bench of the reducer for simulating the actual working condition is designed and constructed,and the comparison and analysis of various test-bed schemes are made.Finally,the performance test of the reducer is carried out on the test bench,and the design index of the reducer is validated.
