Vibration of the ship is the major problem in the design of the ship,and as the high-rise structure in the superstructure of the ship,the vibration of radar mast is especially prominent.The 300mm-tonn VLCC large tanker developed by China has found the radar mast vibration is too strong,even resulting in the falling down of signal lights.So,the vibration of radar mast seriously affects the use of its equipment.In this paper,it is of great engineering significance to study the vibration analysis and vibration reduction design of the radar mast.Firstly,this paper introduces the vibration of radar masts after theintroduction of the vibration phenomena of ships,the structure of radar masts,and the research of vibration of radar mast at home and abroad.This part also puts forward the simplified vibration model of radar masts,and introduces the theory of vibration analysis for radar mast.Secondly,the finite element numerical analysis method is used to analyze the radar mast vibration of the 300,000-ton large-scale VLCC oil tanker,and the vibration analysis of the two kinds of cable-stayed cables is carried out.The advantages and disadvantages of the two damping schemes are compared.Then,the harmonic response analysis of the program-radar mast vibration is carried out,and the vibration responses of the radar masters with two damping ratios were compared.Finally,this paper puts forward the vibration reduction program for radar mast prototype and the test platform scheme of vibration reduction for model experiment,analyzes the damping vibration and its application in ship structure vibration.In this part,a kind of cable stayed structure with magnetorheological damper and a test platform are designed.The analysis results show that in the two vibration reduction schemes of radar mast,the effect for the stay cable under the deck is obvious;the vibration reductioneffectis equally significant when increasing damping on the radar mast.By proposing the cable stayed structure and the test platform of radar mast with the magneto-rheological damper,it provides some technical support for the research of the vibration reduction design of the radar mast.
