With the development of the automotive industry,the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce,the requirements of the vehicle is also more and more high,major OEMs have to produce the best quality in the shortest possible time and the lowest price of the product,but also it is a huge challenge on the auto parts factory,therefore,CAE analysis technology is born..Suspension,as one of the main parts,play a crucial role,its main role is the role between the wheel and the frame(or body)the impact force and torque transmission,at the same time ease the car through the impact of the produce of concave and convex surface,undermine the motion of the bearing system of vibration,so the stability and ensure the car moving.The source of this article is "Changan CS55 models of independent research and development project".Jian'an company research and development the rear torsion beam suspension,for the smooth development of the product,especially to carry out analysis and optimization design work the rear torsion beam suspension structure strength,the main contents are as follows:First of all,the research status of rear torsion beam suspension at home and abroad is introduced,the structural features of the rear torsion beam suspension,the basic theory of finite element analysis,and the brief introduction of the analysis software are introduced.Secondly,the application of Hypermesh the rear torsion beam suspension grid,and establish a complete CAE model,calculated in Abaqus.The effect of vertical load(2.5G)and torsion(±45mm),lateral load(0.6G),braking(0.8G),and bench test results were compared.To find out the causes of cracking rear torsion beam suspension in torsion condition.Finally,make the rear torsion beam suspension optimization scheme,and then carries on the CAE analysis,the maximum stress cracking position is 50% lower than the original scheme,improving the safety factor greatly,this recognition scheme is feasible,and product sample and complete bench test,finally passed the bench test,solved the problem of cracking the original scheme successfully,and won the host plant recognition.
