Cement sand and gravel dam(CSG dam)is developed in recent years by the new material,a new type of cementitious material made of sand and gravel.The new material can make full use of the raw materials at the dam site and mix with the traditional equipment,both locally and high security,and has very good application.The dam type has gone through only a few decades of research.Theory and practice both are still immature.The dam profile design specification is still shallow,restricting the popularization and application of this new material.In this paper,according to the requirements of the scientific research project of the Ministry of water resources,named“the research on the mechanical properties,durability and dam type of cementitious materials”,and with the results are summarized,the main contents of this paper are as follows:1,With the same kind of material,at first do the nonlinear finite element analysis of Hardfill dam and dam height of 100 m and 30 m.Then analyse respectively the Hardfill dam height of 30 m and 100 m,and get the change rule of the stress and displacement,when varing the side slope or the dam height.Do a preliminary analysis of different profiles and to explore the stability of the dam and the possibility to dam a high dam of 100 m.2,Because of the particularity of CSG dam material,it is between the dam and earth rock dam.Based on the design principles of gravity dam and earth rock dam,the influence of material and section on dam stress and stability is analyzed by 30 m and 100 m CSG dam,to determine the control standard of the profile of the cement sand gravel dam.
