In this paper,a kind of tracked vehicle’s transmission control software was designed based on rapid control prototype electronic control system development process.And tested the transmission control software based on hardware in the loop simulation platform.Firstly,transmission control application layer software together with input and output control software were designed based on MATLAB/Simulink.At the same time,scaling the input and output parameters of transmission control software.By now,transmission control real-time software was completed based on Simulink.Then,using the methor of automatic code generation,and obtained the transmission control software which was suitable for the hardware in the loop simulation test.Secondly,automatic transmission models were built based on MATLAB/Simulink.The models included torque converter model and fixed-shaft mechanical gearbox model.Connecting the automatic transmission model,control software and vehicle dynamic model to obtain offline simulation platform.The transmission control application layer software was tested based on this platform in order to verify the feasibility.Thirdly,testing transmission control software based on hardware in the loop simulation platform.Before testing,hardware in the loop simulation platform needed to be built.After that,analyzing test requirements and designed the function test items.Based on the test items,Designed the test cases of all test points.Then,test software was designed based on dSPACE AutomationDesk.Ran the test software on dSPACE AutomationDesk to test the transmission control software and further varyfied the the feasibility and real-time performance.Finally,in oeder to complete the functions of transmission control software,shift process control unit was added inside.Considering tracked vehicle’s shifting conditions,two kinds of evaluation index of shift quality,jerk and friction work,were introduced,then,analyzing control method commonly used in the shift process.According to the actual situationof the controlled object,coordinated control was implemented in the shift process in order to improve shift quality.Consequently,designed torque-based coordinated control strategy used in the shift process and ran it in the offline simulation platform.The simulation results showed that the control strategy can obviously improve shift quality.Through the research above,obtained transmission control real-time software,obtained HIL simulation platform,obtained test cases and automated test software,obtained torquebased coordinated control strategy.At the same time,Transmission control software was completed and fully tested and varified.
