With the rapid development of the science and technology,the detection and guidance weapon system based on optical images has been widely used.Therefore,the optical characteristics of the typical targets and environment,as the foundation and key to the design and development of the weapon systems based on the optical images,are becoming the hotspot.In this paper,we emphasize on the research of the typical ground targets' optical characteristics and establishing a three-dimensional scene simulation systems by considering the influence factors of the environment to the targets.Firstly,the three-dimensional geometric models of the typical targets are established.Then,we analyze the optical characteristics of the targets under the complex environment by combining the theoretical research and experiment data and establish the visible light and infrared gray models of the targets under complex environment,realizing the optical characteristics simulation of the typical targets.Next we do the research of the optical characteristics of the environment,simulate the real landform and combine them with the atmospheric effect to realize the optical characteristics simulation of the environment.Finally,the synthesis of target and background is accomplished by using the 3D scene rendering technology to set up the optical characteristics of the targets under the complex environment simulation system and image database which can be used to provide simulation image data for the development and test of the ATR system.
