The lateral hunting stability of railway vehicle running at high speed is one of the most concerned dynamics problems.When the vehicle runs at poor truck or operating environment,especially the structure suspension parameter changes to worse during service,the deficiencies of vehicle lateral stability cause poor ride comfort or the acceleration alarm even derail accidents.In order to improve the lateral stability of the railway vehicle bogie,a SIMPACK model of 1:5 scale bogie active stability research test rig has been established to simulate the active control effect.Secondly,the test rig has been designed and processed.The data acquisition platform has been established based on LabVIEW and NI card to obtain experimental data such as acceleration,displacement and encoder.The DSP control system platform has been established based on DSP and Matlab/Simulink to achieve the active control.At last,the state feedback control and inertial actuators are used to realize the active stability by suppressing the lateral vibration of the frame.A series of experiments were carried out and the result shows that: the lateral dynamic performance of the bogie can be improved effectively by applying active control at both ends of the bogie frame,and the active damping of the frame lateral vibration based on the inertial actuator can effectively improve the lateral stability of the bogie.
