Arrester is usually called over-voltage protector or over-voltage limiter,which is a main equipment to ensure the stable operation of the power grid system.At present,the ZnO arrester is most commonly used lightning arrester in the power grid system,which can use its own excellent nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics to greatly reduce the overvoltage flowing into the power grid system,thereby ensuring the stable operation of the power equipment.However,the arrester is usually placed in an open-air environment,which is affected by the power frequency voltage and the harsh environment in long-term operation procedures and the arrester valve also has a certain aging or moisture phenomenon.As a result,the protection capability of the arrester is reduced,which makes the power grid operate in an uncontrollable state.In severe cases,it can cause power grid blackouts.Therefore,it is very necessary to timely monitor the operation status of the arrester and assess the health status of the arrester.First of all,to explore the basic working principle of Zinc Oxide arrester from the micro structure and the equivalent circuit in this paper;To analysis the types and causes of the possible failure of the arrester;To summarize some of the most commonly used lightning arrester on-line monitoring methodsd and deduces their principles in detail,the paper chooses the harmonic analysis as monitoring mean of lightning arrester on-line monitoring system through comprehensive comparison;In this paper,some factors affecting the on-line monitoring results of the arrester are summarized,and the effective precautions are carried out in the process of hardware design.Secondly,this paper design frame of on-line monitoring system for lightning arrester,Comprehensively considering the characteristics of the arrester feature extraction process,the influence of various interferences and the isolation requirements of the primary and secondary devices,finally an on-line monitoring device of the arrester based on the FPGA+MCU was designed;This paper focuses on the schematic design of the hardware circuit for the arrester on-line monitoring and completes the fabrication of the PCB board and subsequent hardware debugging on this basis;This paper designs the main program of the arrester online monitoring system based on the hardware platform construction,formulates the corresponding communication protocol and standardizes the data format.The mobile phone APP of the arrester on-line monitoring system based on the andriod platform is designed finally.The mobile phone APP can monitor the operation data of the lightning arrester anytime and anywhere,evaluate the health status of the arrester,and facilitate users to find and deal with problems in time.Finally,the paper has carried on a large number of experiments to the on-line monitoring system of the arrester.The experimental result shows that the software and hardware modules designed can run steadily and various parameters can be displayed accurately in this paper.
