On The Culture Characteristice Of The Design Of Rural Lodging

With the development and progress of the society,people's life has been greatly improved.Therefore,they have higher demands for not only material life but also the spiritual life.For example,to get away from the work pressure and the bad air in cities,people spend more on outside activities and travelling.A very popular activity has been rural travelling.Rural travelling can help people relax and feel the nature.Therefore,countryside guesthouses are getting more popular among tourists.Countryside guesthouses provide the best opportunity for people from the city to get away from the hustling and pollution of cities and enjoy the landscape of the rural area.Niru Village,located in Shangri-La,Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province,is known as the best eco-tourism village for its rich eco-tourism resources.In recent years,Niru Village has become a popular destination among tourists.This thesis analyzes the guesthouse design in Niru Village and explores the artistic demonstration in rural design.It is hoped that this research can provide some implications for countryside tourism design and planning.This research also probes into the reconstruction of the countryside and attempts to combine artistic design and ethnic culture to revitalize the countryside and stimulate the rural economic development.Therefore,this research has focused on exploring how to utilize the local culture in guesthouse design so as to contribute to the construction of the rural area.
